This is the fourth video in my Thailand Travel Series!
The flight from Singapore to Phuket, Thailand with Singapore Airlines was about an hour and a half. We did fly over the Phi Phi Islands and got to see a great bird's eye view of Phuket during our descent.
Once we landed at the Phuket Airport and deplaned, we were immediately seated in rows and had our first set of documents checked, which were our pre-arrival PCR tests, Thailand Pass, Passports and Thai Immigration forms. Then we were allowed to move onto the next stage which was getting our Thailand Pass activated, followed by Thai Immigration. After you pickup your luggage, then I had my PCR test on arrival and registered for my self ATK antigen test. After getting my PCR test, I found the rest of my group and we boarded our private transfer to The Racha reception lounge in Chalong Bay.
The Racha has a reception lounge landside as they run boat transfers twice a day to and from the Koh Racha Yai island. Here you do your check in and they offer free wifi, refreshments and clean toilets. You also select your scent you prefer for your suite, which will be the aroma in the room and also the bathroom amenities I noticed. I chose the “Jasmine” scent, it was amazing.
My villa was number 302 which was a Junior Pool Suite. The room was extremely large at 86 square meters, not including the 14 square meter jacuzzi pool area. Yes, the pool had jets even though it was a cooler temperature which was great to relax in after such a long couple travel days.
I had a yummy Penang Curry with Beef and a fresh coconut for lunch then relaxed in my pool until I received my negative result around 6:30pm. I then joined my group for dinner in the main restaurant (Earth Cafe at The Racha) and had Chicken Satay and a Massaman Curry which were amazing. I had the Mango Creme Brulee for dessert which was also so delicious.
