I’m sharing my full travel setup for the upcoming almost 2-week trip to Japan. I’m trying to find the balance between bringing necessary supplies and traveling light!

I'm one of those people who is obsessed with stationery but can't seem to do anything with it! I take my Traveler's everywhere and still.... Nothing... It was great seeing how you use it. Truly inspired me, thanks!

Thank you so much for the kind comment! I think a lot of us in the community find comfort in documenting our thoughts, experiences and ideas - and in the feeling of having a notebook and a writing tool in our hands. I hope you find a TN setup that works for you!

What a practical and well organized setup ❤ Hope you have a safe and wonderful trip! ✈ If you haven't already, I would suggest testing/practice using the wallet system before you go (see if you can take cash & change in and out of the pouch quickly while standing and holding things (like food) and without using a counter or table top). I personally struggled with the regular size TN as a wallet because it's too big for my hands, so I ended up just throwing things in my bag and organizing it later 😅

Thank you so much! I have been trying out the wallet setup for the past week and it seems to work well for me, so we'll see how it goes. I'm thinking of making a "setup review" video when I get back to talk about what worked/didn't work!

This seems like such a well thought out setup! I like how you're trying to combine a wallet and travel journal, I'm really interested to hear how it works for you! I also really love my sticker book, it's so convenient to have tons of stickers/washi/PET tape available whenever you need in a convenient place!

Thank you for watching! The setup ended up being a little too heavy for everyday carry while I was there, so more often than not I left the journal and sticker book at the hotel(s) before going out. I'll make a follow-up video in the next few weeks!

Have a lovely trip!! I love your customised TN, looking forward to seeing how it comes back. I also use those mini scissors and disliked them, trying another pair right now but not fully convinced, I guess mini scissors cannot replace a proper pair!

Thanks so much VA!! I'll definitely share how the stamping experience goes. It's too bad the travel-sized scissors don't work as well, but as you said, I suppose it makes sense to make some sacrifices since they're so portable. I'll probably rip most ephemera anyway for the torn edge look 😂

Thank you! It was really handy to have pieces of double-sided tape on a previous trip, so I'm going to try it again this time since I'm sure I'll pick up all kinds of ephemera!

A great video with really helpful tips for travelling. I am wondering if you are able to share where the fast food and gaming stickers are from?? Or maybe it’s pet tape, but either way is so super cute!

Hi there, thanks for watching! I believe the ones you're referring to are washi tapes from a brand called Meatball. I received a sample of them from friends, but they should be available in various designs from Papergame (papergame.co)!
