Girl I needed this! I’ve hired by a travel agency but the pay isn’t worth it for the distance . I watched another one of your other videos and you spoke about goodwill which is an agency I’m familiar with here in Ontario. Shout out to you because there aren’t many nurses in Canada making travel content, most of the videos on youtube are US nurses. Thanks again, maybe we’ll work together one day in BC ☺️

Omg thanks girl! I love your content too! Yea there are so many companies to choose from, goodwill recently dropped their rate in BC. Yes we definitely need more Canadian nurse content! Hopefully we do see each other on a contract💛

Hello sage! Thanks for sharing your experience with us:) I do really have questions, I have been working as PSW for 5 years in the LTC and just recently got my RPN license. How long should I wait before I become a travel nurse?

Hey Jessy! Congrats 🎉 definitely try to get a year, to give you as much exposure as possible. Training is mostly 1 day and sometimes 1 night

Thank you for watching! It depends on the agency some as little as 2 weeks some want min 4wks. 4-6wks is pretty average

Hello Sage, I have a question... It's one of those questions I never asked any nurse around me lol..Is every hour after 8 years overtime or after 40 hours the rest that you do are counted as overtime?

Hello Kennedy, it might vary by company but most company’s pay OT after the 40hrs of 8hr shifts and for my company it’s after 46hrs the pay OT every hr after that
