Well done! Thanks for sharing your trip. We were in Verenna at Lake Como in May for two nights. A wonderful start to an Italian adventure in Venice, Florence and Rome then up to Munich and a train to Berlin. Your video brought back why it is so easy to fall in love with Italy. We flew into Milan and used Lake Como to get over jet lag, before hitting the major cities. It was nice to start the trip with some laid back time on Lago De Como. Can't wait to get up into the Alps on our next trip!

Fred, Great work on the video! I wish that our timing could have worked out better, because I might have been able to make a cameo appearance in it! It looks like you maximized your time here and had the opportunity to see some amazing, beautiful sights. Maybe next time you can come a little further east and we can duck into Croatia and Slovenia. So much more to see! Take case buddy.

Fred, totally remarkable, really. 1. My bad, I thought you guys were going to Spain/Portugal, but this just as beautiful. 2. This was obviously a complete labor of love. Even with your mad skills, this had to take a lot of work. I was thinking that to myself the entire time. 3. How did you get all the drone footage, since I thought I saw yours had an issue right away...did you buy another there, or I missed something? 4. Audrey Hepburn (aka the CraftMaster) not only is a fantastic backdrop, but has amazing legs (now make her shy self TALK next time, haha). 5. I was sadly disappointed by the lack (zero) of the indoor laundry line/system you have, which I already said I was interested in, haha. Great job my friend, amazing stuff!!!

Thanks man! I really appreciate it. I did end up buying a replacement drone…thankfully there was an electronics store in Como that carried them. Yes, it was a ton of work but it’s easy to get good shots with such beautiful subjects (both Italy and the Craftmaster 🥰)

Loved your vlog. Was supposed to go to these places but back problems got in the way so seeing them on your vlog was a treat.Only problem was the pronunciation of Italian and German . Ouch! Use the translator on the I phone. Happy travels to you.

We started off our Italy trip by flying into Milan then two nights in Verenna at Lake Como. Easy to get to directly by train and a great place to get over jet lag. You stroll, get on a boar and get off at a fun village, eat, drink, repeat. No real rushing around to do the must see sights, the lake is the site.

Thanks for the video Fred, excellent footage of your trip. Which brings me to my question, how hard was it to get permission to fly your drone? I loved all the areas you two explored, we're hoping to do northern Italy along with eastern France this fall & would love to take my drone. Thanks Dirk

Italy overall is drone friendly…so long as you aren’t in the city centers or national parks you can fly. I’ve never had any issues there.
