A HUGE wow of a day as the Travel Trolls are back on the road with a NEW CAR!! Our airbag problem goes from bad to worse on the motorhome but after panicking all day everything turns out for the best. The wonderful garage did their best to help and didn't even charge us but we left with more problems as we are now against the clock to fix our airbag. Tomorrow unfixable motorhome problems get fixed. Who did it? Tune in tomorrow to see what on earth is going on.

Yay! I'm so happy for you! That car is a beautiful little thing, so freaking cute, and perfect for you guys. Now you guys can go shopping without packing up the van, no waiting for Tesco orders or any of that stress. But I bet it'll feel like a massive change when you go booting around, I just hope you don't forget yourselves in a parking lot searching for the wrong vehicle. 😬💜 Love you guys. Excellent vLogs keeping us all entertained especially Dan acting the clown. The Airbag job is very easy but you must ensure ALL the terminals at the battery negative/earth are disconnected then its just 3 nuts and 2 x cable disconnect, great someone is helping you out. I have just recently had the same problem and when the unit came back from Crash Data it was fixed but more importantly the diagnosis showed my AirBag ECU had seen 14.6v overvoltage at the vehicle battery. I can only assume the overvoltage was when I switched the ignition on to check something when still on mains hookup and the vehicle battery was at the time on charge at max rate. This might not be the case but in future before I switch my engine ON I'll disconnect the mains hookup and switch off the 12v circuit especially on a sunny day. Airbag fault can also be caused by a FLAT battery.

There is a Fiat Professional garage at Immingham just outside Grimsby which do motorhomes. We use them and they are very good.

Great vlog you and Neil going shopping together what a laugh with Neil and his Lidl t-shirt. Thats a great car you've got now you will be able to get out and about a bit easier without having to use the motor home that's brilliant. I hope you get the airbag warning light sorted with out to much trouble.

I don't know about your motorhome, but older cars often get an airbag malfunction code because of a bad wiring connection in the seatbelt (at the seat), they get worn out. Or sometimes, if your steering wheel has cruise controls on it, because of a bad wire connection in the steering wheel.

Neil was a walking advert for Lidl. You were quite right telling Neil to cover up his T-shirt when you are in Aldi, considering that Lidl and Aldi are obviously competitors, each owned separately by brothers who don’t talk to each other,I believe. Sibling Rivalry. The Chuckle Brothers rise again when you two guys are together! It’s a pity nobody sent you guys a real Ferrari, that would be too goofy to be true! I’m happy for you getting the Toyota car, that’ll be very useful for to go on various trips.It’s obviously not practical to use the motor home for these trips off the site.
