Travel Vlog! Day 7 & 8 Traveling to Aguas Calientes & Hiking Huayna Picchu at Machu Picchu (Part 5)
Part 5 and Days 7 and 8 of my dream trip to Peru with my cousin, Raegan!
Day 7: Leaving Cusco with our own private transport to Aguas Calientes. But not without a few stops... we stopped at a hacienda and fed llamas, alpacas, and guinea pigs. We stopped at a couple of viewpoints and then the Mara salt mines and Moray terraces before making it to our next transport destination of Ollantaytambo where we had lunch, saw some ruins and caught our train to Aguas Calientes where we settled in for the night.
Day 8: THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP! MACHU PICCHU! We woke up bright and early to catch the bus and head to Machu Picchu where we hiked circuit 4 of Machu Picchu Citadel before embarking on the crazy hike to Huayna Picchu. The views were absolutely incredible and this has been my number one bucket list item for years now. Honestly the moment that probably I will always remember of this trip was meeting one of my subscribers! It was such an absolutely unreal experience. I can't believe you guys actually exist and to meet one of you on top a mountain in Peru makes it even crazier. After Machu Picchu we took a bus train bus and taxi back to Cusco.
