The Namib Desert is breathtaking, but from the sky, MAGNIFICENT! Flying in a hot air balloon was on our Bucket list from 2010. And 13 years later, we ticked it off by flying in a Hot Air Balloon over the Namib Desert. We used Namib Sky and would recommend them to anyone. Staff are friendly and definitely know what they are doing. They give you a safety briefing with coffee and rusks before takeoff. Drive you in their Kalahari Ferrari to the takeoff stops and lift off. They have multiple hot air balloons taking off together, which make the photographs even more spectacular. After landing, you get a delicious breakfast in the middle of the desert or in a dried river bank. Best experience EVER! Book online and SADC members, you get a discount.... wink wink notch notch.
