@@ammaluv2 If you paid Ghc50 for transport fare from Accra to Kumasi in 2003 then you were badly cheated. Infact I think if I search my box well enough, I may still find maybe one or two of my V I P tickets for 2021. I was always in-between Kumasi and Accra. I was traveling almost every two weeks except for the weeks I travelled to Lagos. The last V I P ticket I got from Asafo,Kumasi to Circle,Accra was Ghc50 as of June 2021. I don't know the kind of Car you entered in 2003. Infact in 2010 I was traveling from Accra to Lagos and the transport fare was less than Ghc150. Because back then I preferred to use the road. I was even coming to Cameroon 🇨🇲 all the way from Accra, Ghana 🇬🇭 by road and I was just 18years old at the time traveling all alone by myself. I would take a bus early in the morning from Accra, Ghana 🇬🇭 to Lagos, Nigeria 🇳🇬. We would arrive Lagos around 5pm and I would buy a Ticket to Calabar, Nigeria 🇳🇬. We would arrive Calabar the next morning. And i would proceed to Ikom 🇳🇬. Then I would Cross the border and enter Ekok 🇨🇲 then from there, I would take a Vehicle straight to Bamenda 🇨🇲. I was always a kid that loves adventure and doesn't really think much about the risk. But that aside. When I was leaving Accra,Ghana 🇬🇭 in June 2021, the transport fare from Accra, Ghana to Lagos, Nigeria 🇳🇬 was between Ghc700 to Ghc800 I don't know if the price has gone up or down now. But Ghc50 back then around 2009/2010 was good money. Infact back then Ghanaians were calling Ghc50 (five hundred thousand old Ghana cedis) and they were calling Ghc100 (one million old Ghana cedis) do you remember? And I know good hotels in Circle and Adabraka that were charging Ghc30 for a night infact you could even pick a nice, clean girl from Circle to keep you company for maybe an hour or two for that remaining Ghc20. The were always pretty and clean girls standing around Circle, Accra just waiting to be of service to someone. GHANA HAS REALLY CHANGED HAHA
