Just a few more months until my second novel “ The Victorian Vigilante” is out!! Don’t forget to add it to your Goodreads account!
SYNOPSIS:
LONDON, 1884.
Una Egerton is a woman adrift in a world dominated by man’s corruption and crisis. Riddled with a dark side herself, when night falls Una cloaks her feminine appearance and becomes the fighter known in the London Underground as the Silver-Haired Devil. But just as Una finally has a grip on her abnormal condition, the body of a woman is found floating in the Thames River in an oddly familiar way to that which claimed the life of her mother a decade ago. This murder sets off a series of events that fall one after another. Her alter ego is rapidly labeled a person of interest and the mysterious death toll continues to climb. A secret society hidden in the shadows begins to emerge having her question everything she thought she held dear.
Una must set aside her convictions and become the detective her city desperately needs. With themes of sacrifice and personal virtue, The Victorian Vigilante is a grounded take on vigilantism with an elaborate plot canvasing Ancient Egypt and the London underbelly known as the East End.
EARLY REVIEWS:

I have both as well. The Passport acts as my Commonplace Book. Goes everywhere with me. The bigger one is for long form writing: morning pages, stoic prompts, etc. I’ll type into a second brain iOS Notes stuff I research in depth by that’s my system. I love your channel!

I don't know where exactly to look cos your table accessories look so good! I use the standard as my wallet now, but sometimes the passport size is really more convenient, like a few months ago when I walked around a lot for a family funeral, and there was no way I could carry a bag with me everywhere.

If you want to use your passport notebook as a wallet I would recommend the galen leather wallet insert in passport size. The crazy horse brown ages beautifully and the insert can also be used on it's own. It has a pen loop, zipper pocket, sleeve for receipts and some card slots. I know other makers also offer similar ones but I have found the galen leather one to be the best for me.

Thanks for the info! I love Galen leather’s products and completely forgot that they offer that! I will certainly give it a go and see how I like it! I have one of their green leather notebook covers along with an everyday notebook that I use as a journal. Definitely my preferred products for the task.

I just got my first travelers passport notebook. I’ve tried using pocket notebooks as a wallet and it drove me crazy. I’m liking this size. I found a midori calendar insert because I like having a paper calendar with me.

I do use mine as a "front pocket" wallet and it works great for me; I have absolutely zero worries doing so. Mine is a little thicker due to me storing my Kaweco Lilliput inside the plastic zipper case, opposite a debit and credit card.

I've been waiting for a new video from you, Alexander! It was so great to see an update about the passport size and hear your experience with it! I'm like you, I love how my journals age with me! I've used to use my black passport cover as a wallet for a long time and it was great, nothing ever fell off the wallet and I really enjoyed using it as a wallet. I only switched it to 'real' wallet because I needed a bigger wallet for additional cards (like the kids health insurance cards, etc) but if not, I would have stayed with the passport as a wallet for sure. About the paper, It makes sense that the paper will be Midori's. I love the quality of the papers but sometimes I wish they were a bit thicker. I'm planning to buy the olive covers, but I don't know what I will use them for. Have any ideas? :) What a great video, I enjoyed the update so much! Hugs from Israel!

The olive ones are so nice! I’m kind of wishing I would have bought one too! I think it would make a good to-do list holder or something about nature/ outdoorsy stuff (plants, botany, birds). Those are my ideas! Sending kind regards from Washington!

@@alexanderwrites_ I think choosing the brown was a really good decision from your part. it means you're going for a timeless approach regarding your writing materials. Brown will always be classic and beautiful and not trendy at all. The other colors (besides Black) are ones I bought on a whim and I will definitely choose something else now. Even though Green is my favorite color, I actually reach for my brown cover more often. I believe I will buy the olive ones eventually but only after I decide what to put inside of them. Regarding the size, I am more into the passport size lately, for the last six months, I've been using them solely and not the regular size. They're so much fun to use and the size is really wonderful. I'm a bit annoyed by the fact that TRC notebook binder is so expensive. I really would love to have several of them to store my finished notebooks and I couldn't find a good dupe. Besides that, I really love using those notebooks and I even make a few of my own (passport size), using heavy textured papers, for my commonplace books (which have mixed media materials used inside of them, so they need to be thick). It's really fun and the system is so versatile and customizable. It's nice to see you're using them as well. I don't wear pants so I don't have pockets but they would be so amazing to put in a pocket and just go!

Hi, I'm trying to go analog on journaling and this set up seems really amazing! I've got a friend that makes handmade leather bags and I would like to ask him to make a notebook like yours. If you'Il make an update, could you show the dimentions of the leather when the notebook is open?
@alexanderwrites_
@alexanderwrites_ 10 ай бұрын
According to Travelers Company’s website, the dimensions for this notebook are 5.2"" x W 3.8""! That’s so awesome your friend is into leather crafting! Let me know how it turns out!

I got a 5 x 4 handmade traveller's notebook today, and it's very cute. I thought it was bigger in the picture, lol. I was wondering if a 5 x 4 notebook is the same as a passport size? I'll figure out what to write in it in due time. :3

It’s roughly that size yes. Only slightly smaller because there’s is a special size. Yeah, they’re so many ideas to use these things for. Best wishes!

I think I remember Brian Goulet saying that the paper in the regular size is indeed different than the paper in the passport size;the regular size says Midori paper and the passport with some printing that says DesignPhil (?). Hope I'm not pasing on misinformation. I'm looking forward to receiving my Traveler's passport-size notebook. I have a lot of shirts with pretty big pockets;hoping this will fit. I've never carried a pen in my pants/jeans pocket as I tend to baby my pens;even the Kaweco Sport(s). I have two plastic, Classics, and a Bronze one that could be used as an emergency glass-breaker.

I’m not super familiar with this. But after a bit of research it would appear this is the blurb I found, “As with all TRAVELER'S notebooks, its leather cover is hand-made in Chiangmai of northern Thailand.”
