Autumn is here, and there is no better place to see and photograph autumn, than in the Lake District.
This is the first video of 3, documenting one week up in the lake district.
Days of rain, hiking and photography. Not too bad at all

Ok disclaimer: the majority of drone footage is rubbish. And I didn't notice until I exported it. Tried to fix it a bit in premiere which then caused premiere to crash so....mushy drone footage it is. Enjoy.

Mushy or not..... I enjoyed it. You had some drone footage of a car driving along a narrow single track road, with dark lake to the right... was that Wast Water? Heading to Wasdale Head?

@@Steph_davis yayyy... how about that. I was there last about 45 years ago... as a young lad... camping at Wasdale.... but despite the time passed the road and the lake are locked in the brain box. Funny what your mind hangs on to. All the best.... Steve.

@@Steph_davis lol.... its the darkness and the sheer depth of the lake that I noted. Its depth from the shore line plummets so quickly and steeply to 258ft (just had to check that :-) I used to swim in it with my goggles and see how far I could swim out before fear got me.... not very far. Then the movie Jaws came out and I never went in it again 😄👍

I feel you. Never had desiduous trees on the east coast of Australia so I get very excited this time of year. Having actual seasons is nice.

Another awesome vid! 👍 Love the Lakes, one of my favourite places anywhere. Been there many times, climbed many of the peaks and even managed to drag the kids up a few of them. 😀 Posted a couple of vids there myself, always brings back many happy memories watching the vids again...that's what it's all about creating happy memories.😉

Going to get a Mavic Air soon so would love to know what you did wrong to cause the drone footage to go mushy? Thanks

hey Byron. This was shot on the original Mavic pro. She is almost 4 years old I think she is on her last legs. I think the main problem is there wasn't much light, it also struggles to focus these days so I think it lost a bit of focus on some of the shots. Hoping to snag a Black Friday deal on the air 2 :D
