I don't like the puppy pad. I usually use a towel that has my scent on it. Keeps them calm and a scent of home. Best thing for a cat is not changing their environment. You do that drastically when traveling. Giving them familiar scents helps them a lot.

@asniffer6532 Its the person whos allergics problem. Either move or deal with it, everyone is supposed to bring allergy medications incase this is the case. Its on them if they dont

Virgin Australia has announced that small pets (cats & dogs) will soon be allowed to accompany passengers in Australia will soon be allowed to travel with their owners, in carriers under the seat in front. So this video is handy. (From Kym in Darwin Australia - with 3 tuxedo cats (aged 2 to 4). It’s a 4 hr flight from Darwin to Melbourne or 5 to Sydney. Perth to Sydney is 4.5 hrs)

Thanks for sharing, it's making me feel less stressed, I'm immigating with my husband and taking a three months kitten which we adopted recently, it cries a lot in the car so we're super stressed about the 9hours flight, hopefully we won't be kicked out of the plane because of the meowing 😆

@@seemalfatima4872 it went so smooth, he stayed on my lap during the flight, played a lot, cried from time to time mainly during turbulence but other than that he was fine, after 10 hours when we were leaving the airport he peed inside his cage lol

I'm about to fly for the first time with my fur babies. My vet recommended a mild tranquilizer but American Airlines doesn't accept tranquilized or sedated pets. I bought a calming spray but IDK how much it's going to help lol. My 2 kitties are great when I drive them around but my third one meows like crazy she gets so scared! I'm moving so I have no choice. I'm crossing my fingers that we don't have any potty accidents on the plane but I did get the pee pads. I wonder how they would react to diapers that people use for dogs.

You don't need a puppy pads, because cats never gonna take a bathroom at unfamiliar ambience. It's a little stress for cats so they will not gonna pee because of this.

Do they really use the litter box when they are in the airport? The bathroom can be quite noisy and unfamiliar for them.

I’m taking my 8 year old kitty on a plan end of this year.She already doesn’t like car rides so I’m trying to get her used to that as well as a backpack carrier she loves her regular carrier so I don’t have a problem with that but as soon as I get her into the car she meows in salivates the entire time so I’m trying to get her used to that do you have any tips for when she gets noisy on a plane? I’m gonna be traveling alone so that thought of annoyed people with my cat gives me anxiety

@@seemalfatima4872 work canceled the relocation, instead moved 2 hours away and she did not do good… two accidents and got sick. She is now 11 (turned 9 the year I posted this)

i’m living in korea right now but moving to the US later this year. i have two cats and they’re a little anxious. not sure how they would do on a 17 hour flight :( would you recommend that i make the trip with them or should i possibly have someone adopt them before i leave? any advice is appreciated!

I’m having the same situation. I’m being stationed in South Korea for a year and couldn’t find any family to take care of him for a year and I don’t want to give him away to a stranger. So I’m opting to bring him with me but I’m not sure how he’ll react to an 17 hour flight :/

I’m one person with two cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛ 🤔 of moving abroad to 🇲🇽 & I can’t figure out how to bring 2 of them in cabin with me. I think most airlines limit 1 🐈 per passenger in cabin. 😢

@@Dap740 i tried that but she won't go near the towel that she peed on once even though it's been washed several times plus the smell is much worse. i did find However that she didn't rip up a different company and my theory is that the adhesive for the first one was what was causing her to want to rip it up.

i will fly with my cat in a month and half 💔 its 12 hour flight an 4 hour layover another 1 flight and about 4 hour drive 💔💔💔 he is so scared of everything so definitely for such a long flight i will try sleeping pills BUT scared that i might not help

@@gabrielaisabelkeeton8422 it went okay ♡ we gave him pills to be calm and he was doinh great during 12 hour filght after layover i took him to toilet and he peed and gave him a snack, however the layover was about 4 hours and next flight was an hour so the pill was no longer effected :/ so during the last flight he started to be loud and omg in the car ride which took 3 hours it was a nightmare 💔 ( lound aggressive meowing) so i recommend maybe for longer time to take 2 pills and after 10 hour time to gave your cat second pill

For delta they have a cabin specific capacity. For instance up to 4 animals can fly in main, 2 in comfort+, 2 in first. Check with your airlines pet policy. Some airlines restrict 1 animal per passenger.
