Both of us felt very sad after visiting. I think anyone would after visiting the memorial. He just finished editing the video we made about the Nanjing massacre and it's been quite hard on him. Being confronted with that level of cruelty is really bad for anyone

I wanted to see what it would be like having to integrate into a culture far from the west and East Asian culture was something I found to be quite interesting. I've always been a curious person and loved history, culture and politics from a very young age. In this Jiayi and I are very similar. Jiayi is a Zhejiang university graduate. Both of his parents went to university as well, but he's from a very normal middle class family. In the future, we definitely want to discuss more in-depth topics both about ourselves, but also society and history 😊
