About Me:
My name is Kevin Cook. I'm originally from Dallas, TX, but I've been living and traveling in Asia since 2013.
After graduating from university in 2011 and working a few unfulfilling jobs, I saved enough money to move to Asia and work as a teacher for a few years. That opportunity allowed me to travel around and experience new foods and cultures, and ignited a passion for blogging and making videos.
Now I travel full-time and make videos with the goal that I can encourage YOU to pursue your own dream of overseas traveling and living.
If you enjoy watching my videos, you can help me grow my channel by giving my videos a 'thumbs up', leaving a comment, sharing them, and subscribing!
Thank you :)

I feel pretty strongly that you should get paid ridiculous amounts of money to make a travel show. I would totally watch. Great energy and the music / filming / editing are fantastic.

I live near this district. Lived here for 6 years. Great area. I live in a 3 room with private bathroom AC and Wifi i included condo. It is a really nice condo and I pay a little under 14000B month. I usually eat street food every day. Its really good food and cheap. I spend about 400b a day for food and a couple bucks for drinks. I spend about 7000B a month spending time on the islands. I live off my Pension 1,200.00 and Social Security 500.00 US dollars a month. I live like a king here in Thailand. My Condo isnt flashy but its nice. I live 5 minutes from the beach. A minute away from 6 great street restraunts and many vendors. I go to beach beach every other day and lounge and drink Mango Juice. I visit Budist Temples and awesome jungles. This is so much more care free than in the States. The quality of life here is a thousand times better. I visit the states once a year for Christmas. Other than that Thailand is the place for me.

You can eat the best northern Thai food in a small kitchen opposite the market (kad) in moon muaeng Soi 6. It will cost you 80 baht and 20 for a soda with ice and lime (soda naamkang sai maneow) . In AUD tha's about $4. For .great food, a beer say Leo small (lek) is 55 baht so if you have 3 beers that's 165 baht ($6) and breakfast will be 100 for a good one ($4) accomodation will be around 600 baht if you don't want to share and want air con in a reasonable place. Lunch, another 100 baht. So budget for at least $50 AUD at the cheap end and more like $7_ if you just want to enjoy life and not be lavish. Oh do ' listen to the Chinese girl from the hostel.
