Definitely contact the airline about the services available for people who are in a wheelchair. You can get approved for a way to bypass the normal security because some of the TSA really don’t know how to deal with people with disabilities. Make sure that you have a cushion to sit on to help prevent pressure sores and remember to shift your weight from time to time during the flight etc.

Do you take any medications at all? Like for spasms or nerve pain? I just noticed you don't really seem to have any spasms all that much! My sleep schedule is so jacked up since my accident. It's so hard for me to sleep and when I do it's only for maybe a few hours. Do you have a catheter? Or do you take meds to help control your bladder or whatever? I went for like the first year or so without a catheter but it was just too much so I ended up getting a catheter. It's much better I guess cuz I don't have to worry about it anymore besides remembering to empty it every so often. It's great you have such a great support group around you. I wish I did. At first I did but then they got the caregiver burnout I guess so now I'm on my own. Now I live vicariously through people like you who are out there doing big things and going on all these great adventures! But yeah I just am curious how others in a similar conditions are going through all this.

If you feel comfortable sharing, I would be so interested to see how your rockstar mom and sis are caring for you in a hotel without that fancy equipment you have at home! 🙏 you’re so strong loving watching your journey.
