I’m so sorry your husband couldn’t come into Canada! Honestly as a Canadian I’m so embarrassed with some of the things that are happening here right now. I’m so glad you still came and enjoyed your time with family! Thanks for sharing!

I really liked seeing the rainbow used in an appropriate way. We visited the Ark the first weekend it was open, they have added so much more! I agree we must be thankful in good times and challenging times. It is the latter that is often experienced to bring us closer to Him🙏🌷I hope everyone is feeling back to good health!

@@kerisaltchannel3817 I disagree, it has been co opted by the LGBTQ movement as their symbol. Noah built an altar to the Lord after being delivered from the Flood, God sent the rainbow as a sign of His covenant.

So sorry your husband wasn't able to cross into Canada. It's so sad to see how divided this world is now. We all come from the same place we should all treat this planet as our home. But happy to see the kids enjoying their vacation.

This was such a nice peek into your background. I remember the days when we only needed to show our drivers license to cross the border. The world has become so defensive and rightfully so. It’s so sad. Better days will come. 🙏🏻

God has a plan and purpose for everything! Sometimes we find out why and sometimes we don't. So glad you were able to spend time with your family. You mentioned Winnipeg...I didn't know you had grown up in Manitoba! I grew up south of Winnipeg. Wishing you God's richest blessings.

Seeing your family interact with your children was touching , most of my grandchildren live 1,000 miles away so I know how precious it is when they visit! I’m so sorry Josh couldn’t be there and your trip was cut short !

My family is from nevada and we have wanted to see the ark for so long it looks amazing and maybe just the place we need to plan to go thank you for your experience and sorry your husband couldn’t continue on the trip the division in this world isn’t a good thing but being able to meet up with him and share in Gods promise to us all must have been what he saw fit for you all ♥️ God bless you and yours

Thank you for taking us along especially with everything going on and a sick baby is always heartbreaking because you feel so sorry for them. I’m glad you got to spend time with your family but so sad that Josh couldn’t go. We have been to the Ark and it was so hot and crowded we kind of rushed through it! God is faithful and I believe He knows what’s best for us even when we don’t understand. ❤️

I'm sad Josh could not cross to visit your family, too. You handled precious baby beautifully♥️. Our twenty month old granddaughter has been displaying the same kind of symptoms! Hard to know if teeth, ears or a virus is the issue! God bless you dear Momma! So glad to see you all reunited once back in the states! You were in our necknof the woods, when visiting the Ark! From SW Ohio, we're about forty minutes away, if memory serves. Yes, it has been really hot here with a heat index over 100 each new day!! God bless you and yours🤗🤗♥️

Hi there! My oldest daughter works at the Ark Encounter as a dispatcher. However, Sunday is one of her days off. We were there in Nov. of last year. It was much colder and we weren’t outside much.

Parts of this made me tear up. I too am so sorry Josh was not able to go with you to visit your family, but that gave me and my husband a chance to meet josh! He's not the first person to be stuck at our Motel because he was unable to get into Canada. We've had quite a number of guests for that reason. I recognize the MCC store! I agree with you the MCC store in Canada is much better than anything I have seen here in the states! Next time you guys are up this way stop in and say hi. I would love to meet the rest of your family!

I don’t know why your husband wasn’t allowed to cross into Canada! That makes me so sad to hear😢. Sure would like to know more about what’s happening at our boarder.. since vaccine mandates are dropped. I’m from Canada , and have been mostly trapped here because of my choice to not be vaccinated. Anyway, I just started following you a week ago and enjoy your posts. Lovely family, praying Gods blessings and vision on your dear family ❤

I own the motel that Josh stayed at while his family continued on their journey into Manitoba. Even though the vaccine mandate has been dropped, sometimes an individual border official will still tell someone who is unvaccinated that they may not enter Canada. Unfortunately it is up to the individual officer's discretion. And there are other reasons why people don't cross or are not allowed to enter Canada. (Steph and Josh will have to speak to what happened with Josh. I'm not able to comment on that.) Also there's a family in our church here that lives in Manitoba. They went home after church on May 22nd and the customs official informed them that their "number came up" and they would have to quarantine for 14 days. Apparently, random quarantines are being implemented right now. The situation is deeply frustrating. I don't know when we're going to see our Manitoba friends again.
