In today's vlog, I start off at OR Tambo International Airport, where I pick up some souvenirs. They had some amazing stuff like caps, T-shirts, and even a vuvuzela, but I opted for a South African flag and a charming mug to remind me of home.
With little time to spare, I had to rush to my boarding gate - always give yourself extra time at airports, guys! I made it just in time and settled in for the long flight ahead.
Dinner on the plane was a decent chicken curry and rice (Halal option). As we flew across Africa, it got quite chilly, so I cozied up with the fleece blanket provided. Breakfast was eggs, mushrooms, and sausage, which was a nice start to the day as we neared our destination. To pass the time, I enjoyed a Korean movie that made the hours fly by.
After a long flight, we finally touched down in London - safe and sound! Before heading to baggage claim, I took a moment to freshen up in the bathroom. Once I collected my bags and stepped outside, I was greeted by the freezing London air, with even the grass covered in ice! I definitely wasn't prepared for this weather.
