Londoners may seem unfriendly (we don’t tend to speak to strangers much) but if you ask for help most of us will be more than happy to help. Well done for getting around, being in a new big city is daunting! But it’s fine once you figure it out.

Isn't Nate doing great? I do think that is probably true for most cities these days. London had a friendly vibe to me. I so enjoyed living there for 6 months! I remember needing help with directions on the tube and people jumped into to help. One time I expressed empathy for a mother struggling with her crying child on the train. Just a comment. Time passed and as she was getting off the train she thanked me and wished me all the best in my future. The people I met that my boyfriend worked with in the City of London in insurance were so chill and their body language seemed so less guarded than what I am accustomed to. I also loved seeing the Happy Hour vibe - very different than what I see where I live in the States. I guess you could say I am a fan! Haha

As a Brit, watching you experience the UK has been so sweet. I’m so glad you had a great time and it’s been such fun following along with your adventure. DLP is the best you are going to love it! Stay safe though…the Eurostar is so much easier to travel under the channel than flying I have to admit. We normally drive to DLP via the Chunnel aka Chanel Tunnel…say hey to Mickey for me ❤

It’s so funny! I took the opposite route from you on my first trip to London. I did basically the same thing which was just walk and see where the roads led me to. I started with the palace, then Piccadilly Circus and walked back to my hotel on the opposite end of the park near parliament. I was lost and ran into other lost travelers but it was so nice to see so much and it felt pretty safe even at night. This video makes me miss that trip and now I really want to go back to London for even longer. ❤

I am so happy that you loved London and got to be a tourist while you were here. I moved to London aged 17 alone to start my career and have never left. 32 years later I still get emotional when I am a tourist and have never gotten bored of it. I am however overly excited about what you think of Disneyland Paris, my happy place and where I have just returned. Paris is beautiful and somewhere I would live if I didn’t live in London. 👍

Hey Nate, Loving seeing you enjoying London. Did you know the tube carriages are colour coded to the line they travel on. So when you were on the Jubilee line, which is grey, the hand rails and poles in the carriage would have been grey too.

Hey Nate, I visited London for the first time in September 2022, and absolutely fell in love with it. I understand your desire to want to live there! If you can, you should try a place in Piccadilly called Richoux for afternoon tea, sandwiches, and pastries. I actually got to tour Buckingham Palace the same day Her Majesty passed away.

@Pilgrimage into the Past The bridge's facing stones were removed, with each numbered and its position catalogued. After the bridge was dismantled, the stones were transported to a quarry in Merrivale, Devon, where 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches) were sliced off many of the original stones.

Nate this is one of the best videos I’ve watched for a long time. I loved it. You were so relaxed and having fun. London stresses me out but you showed try’s vacation goals in this video. Seeing you enjoy roads I’ve walked and places I’ve visited that are my side of the pond melts my heart!

Such a great way to experience famous historical sites - through the eyes of someone seeing them for the first time. You were as blown away as I would be about everything - much better than seeing it in movies. Can't wait to see Gracie get her treats!

LOVE your London videos. It’s my favorite city, and we visited annually while living in Europe. We just moved back to the US after 7 years, and watching your London series has brought us so much joy- and made us miss London something fierce. I love the excitement and joy you are exuding on your travels! Wishing you many more adventures!

Honestly Nate, seeing my home through your eyes has really got me in the mood to take a tourist day. As a Londoner I take so much of this for granted, it’s been on my doorstep all my life but I’ve not been into town in about 8 years.
