Myanmar was rich but everything changed when the English attack . English take all their gold,food,wood,money and people away from their family.English didn't give them back nothing when the world end . And that's why the English was too rich. It was the most powerful country in the world

Kevin Lin dont blame the english for everything. Look at singapore, small fishing village also taken over by the english. They bounced back under great leadership and is now one of the worlds top financial hubs. Blame the military government

Gab, you should try the thanaka make up. It is made from barks that is similar to sandalwood.It protects the skin from sunburn and it works just like sunscreen. It also provides cooling feeling to the skin.

It is another great video! Yangon looks very clean, and people look very friendly. It is a nice train ride among the locals.

i lived in myanmar for a pretty long time. I love the country but please pay attention to the street food. :) maybe it's not a very good idea

Yes the Street Food looks Dangerously unhigenic. One should Avoid Street Food... It may seriously upset stomach. It could lead to Food Poisoning too. Last Word :Avoid Avoid Avoid

Yes Myanmar is such a generous country...all Buddhist countries are ...Dana ...donation is hugely important and in Myanmar, the state of one’s mind is more important than the size of one’s bank account

In burma you can actually if you dont have enough money you can take it but you can come give the money later or next day if you are missing 10 kyats you can come give 10 kyats later

Hi Jack & Gab, they banned the motorbikes to avoid the roads jammed with them like in some other Asian cities. The motorbikes, scooters and tut-tuts create noise pollution as well. And Yangonites are very sensitive about how their city look. They want to make the city clean and beautiful to live. There are many government departments and grass-root people-led movements currently going on at the moment to achieve this goal.

Compared to western cuisine which is very mellow and mild, Asian foods tend to be on the extreme part of the spectrum. If it's sweet, it's enough to rot your teeth. If it's spicy, you'll probably breath fire. Sour is also very common tastes for salads. And Asians don't shy away from salt. It may not be the best for your health but it sure tastes good.
