Your words made a difference in my life during the loss of my wife of 63 years. We were very much like you two, we did everything together. If not for my faith and hope in the good Lord no way I could make it. Mike and Karen keep up the good work. God bless

I visited this part of the country when I was a kid, but we travelled with grandparents who never wanted to stop and see things, so our stops were always brief, and we never did much. It would be great to go back and revisit this area, Devil’s Tower, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Keystone, Wall Drug and The Badlands. Just a beautiful part of the country to be sure.

Robert, you hit it out of the park with this episode. All your tools as a videographer are evident here. A totally mesmerizing landscape, even though it's been documented before, you've managed to capture an astounding environment as only one with your skills could capture. Thank you so much for sharing this immensely enjoyable travelog. By the way, I wish you good speed on the way to your recovery (broken foot).

We love going to the Black Hills. I think you could spend months here and not see it all. You always have to be careful at the Bandlands dispersed camping. I have seen big rigs get stuck in the mud when it rains hard and the winds can blow 70 to 80 MPH during storms. You did a fabulous job shooting this segment. Thanks Robert.

I was working at the Mount Rushmore KOA while you were there. Unfortunately, during your stay, I was quarantined with Covid - there was a breakout of Covid amongst the workampers. Since I’m a longtime follower of yours, I’m so sad that I missed you! And yes - connectivity is really bad there - the number one complaint I received at my registration desk!

The views and landscape of SD are just breathtaking, Badlands was the first National Park I visited as I began my nomadic journey, and I will never forget those painted hills. Visiting the Lakota, the park and Deadwood only added to my excitement. The snow wasn't so bad, but was cold. Nice shots for folk to see.

One of my favorite parts of the country. Wish I didn't have to travel the upper mid west to get there or I spend more time there. At Devils Tower we stay at the federal campground with basically the same view but for $10.00 a night. Dry camping though. Looking for wood to your next video for the memories of our trips. Thank you.

Looking forward to the next episode since Crazy Horse wasn't finished and was closed when we drove by it. We didn't go to wind caves either, but we did go to Jewel Caves, which is a very special places because I had a huge crush on a park ranger there 🤣 😂 Hope you are recovering well. Take care.

I just got back from tenting 35-60 is about the cheapest 'out the door' you can do at KOA. thats for tenting. and nyup, they have a good app . I did the Badlands at worse time of the year triple digits heat ( but a dry heat LOL). I know better for next time
