Being an artist myself, it will be really cool to see how you guys paint Australia. Your photography is awesome from what I've seen so far. Looking forward to seeing more episodes. You're so lucky to get away with towing a Jayco on the Gibb with no issues as they are not a very good van for that kind of punishment. Glad to hear that you now have a seriously high quality van. @@ArtZoneTravels water colour and acrylic. Never got into oil painting. Also haven't played around with the brushes for a while. Need to get re inspired!

I use acrylics also, and Pete uses watercolours. Ive had a dabble in oils, I find they just not suitable for Road tripping when I need paint to dry fast :-) . Do you have a page we can see your art ? @@jasonbarnes5605

@@ArtZoneTravels my painting days are long gone. I studied at the SA school of art back in the 70's and produced paintings and photographs up until the late nineties. Since then I haven't done anything re artwork. I moved to NZ for 8 years and now live in NSW. I want to start travelling around Australia very soon and would love to get back into painting and photography during my travels.

Thank you for the lovely introduction. We love Straddie, it's one of our favourite places in SE Qld. We lived north of Brisbane for many years before we decided to full-time travel, have been to Straddie a few times. Amity Point is our favourite spot. Hopefully see you on the road one day. Safe travels in a beautiful caravan :D
