With this video I want to offer you some useful information on public transport on the island of Kos in Greece, an increasingly popular destination for Italian tourists. From tickets to the lines served, I will give you some tips for travelling in comfort.

The bus is an excellent means of transport for those who want to travel around Kos without hiring a car. It is undoubtedly cheaper (tickets start at €2.10 per person), but requires a little organisation. The island is in fact very small and rides are limited.
The frequency is higher during weekdays from Monday to Saturday and is drastically reduced on Sundays, when, depending on the destination chosen, there may be buses every 2 hours.
On the other hand, the island of Kos offers many car rental services and private transfers as well as travel agencies that organise tours and excursions to Kos' best attractions.
In general, always bear in mind that bus routes on Kos have their terminus at the island's capital, Kos Town. And it is always from here that buses depart to the individual villages (Marmari, Tigaki etc). Many buses even stop in the immediate vicinity of holiday villages, hotels and resorts to make things easier for holidaymakers.
