A Night Bus in the Philippines... I have taken them may times over the years, but this was my first ever experience travelling from Cagayan de Oro to Zamboanga City!
Kumar, Jandee and myself left for the westbound bus terminal in Cagayan de Oro and boarded our "express" night bus. It is important for any first time riders to prepare for a few things along the way. Night buses in the Philippines can actually be quite cold, and interesting!
This is a raw look at our travelling journey across Mindanao...

I’m in the vlog! We made in the last part. Haha! My ‘sipon’ was still dripping from eating the spicy satti when i saw you, and the ‘fanboy’ inside just kicked in. that was one of my very long bus ride also in Mindanao 13 years ago. I used to ride Rural Tours from Zamboanga City at night and arrive at CDO in the morning. there was some parts of the road still rough in Sibugay-ZDN back then.

It is the first time that I've meet you Kulas and that is on that vlog at Iligan City terminal. While I was staring at the bus that you were on, I saw someone wearing a familiar headband, at that moment I already knew who it was. I was waiting and hoping for you to go out the bus, and finally you did and even let us take picture with you even though you're in a hurry cause the bus is leaving. Biggest fan here! Most of his early drone work is backwards but for quite a while I have noticed it is no longer that way. As well, it has improved in many ways making the drone footage an enjoyable part of the whole video.

Mabuhay from Mississauga, ON Canada! So true if you want to experience winter in the Philippines is you ride on a bus. LOL. We took the same type of bus last week from Manila to Baguio City. Froze on the bus and froze at night in Baguio. On the return trip I wore pants and my golf windbreaker. Next time, I'm bringing my North Face Thermoball :-)

i like night trip when traveling long distance.. its so peaceful ambience, less people, cold bus and you just sleep on the bus and when the sun shines you are already there..its time saving, unlike traveling at day time when get to your destination its night already and you have to sleep n..

kulas, you made me miss home. Seeing Rural Transit reminds me of my life in Dipolog. No month that I don't ride their buses. I've stayed in CDO a couple of months and a few days in Zamboanga City and that's why my favorite bus is a Tours cause of the CR. haha.

PH night buses w/aircon are known to be set at coldest level, like a fridge on wheels (lol). But I got to say u guys are rolling in style complete w/CR. I rode a similar bus with a CR, Farinas Transit, in going to La Union and it is the most recommended for long travel especially for travellers who frequently urinate.
