I'm an Indonesian, but I just don't understand why people in Indonesia always want to take photo with foreigners 😂 And it's tiring just to look at the videos of tourists/foreign KZfaqrs being bothered by those people asking for selfie. They need to stop 😐 Edit: usually you will be asked for selfie only from people on the streets, or pasar (markets) or from villagers. But if you shoot in more urban areas, or busier areas, you don't get that kind of thing. But it would be less interesting of course 😊

IF your stay is long enough and you want to see other islands, then, I recommend my province of Minahasa, northern Sulawesi island, we are called Menadonese (Menado is capital), ancestors Mongols over 800 years ago landing here, mostly Christians due Dutch colonization and favoring our islanders. Amazing foods and fabulous resorts and parks.

I just returned to west coast of Canada from Kuala Lumpur and was proud of myself for trying various street food. All thanks to your channel and for showing how it is possible to travel on a budget. Nice video, keep up the good work! you should also visit my hometown Central Java, you can see Merapi Volcano, and Dieng Plateau (if you want to take a break from Indonesian's heat haha). And maybe take a look at Yogyakarta a city nearby full of history and culture. On the other hand, I'm going to visit Baltics countries either next week or next month, perhaps going to go to Lithuania as well maybe Vilnius and Kaunas, do you have any recommendation by any chance? it seems like an interesting country for me personally! can't wait to be there!

These places are on our list! Lithuania is nicest in summer time. If you go there check Trakai castle, Nida and Klaipeda region as well!

Go through the popular route of Jakarta, Bandung (the surrounding nature is better than the city itself), Yogyakarta (see temples), Malang (Go to tumpak sewu), Bromo and finally Bali

You can go to pasir putih PIK 2 or Ancol if you want see the beach, but if you want feel diference of jakarta you can go to pulau seribu like pulau pari, enjoy jakarta

It is true what you say. I spent 3 months in Pandosia, an entire month in Jakarta, and I was not able to cover the city in terms of malls and markets. For two months, he moved between Lombok, Samabuh, and Bali, but the girl guide was very lazy and spent most of her time sleeping. I cannot do without her because she translates. I will be visiting soon for a month. I must try to go to at least 3 islands, but without a guide because she requires money and is lazy.😅

Indonesia beautiful country with never ending surprises... jakarta is great the people are awesome... piece of heaven fallen to earth that what I describe this country than any other countries I have ever went to I've been spending in indonesia for 12 years instead of only 2 months holiday when i first planned. stuck in the paradise I speak bahasa indonesia dengan cukup baik saya kira 😊😘❤️🇮🇩

you should not go to the pier but go to the shah bandar tower there you can see the view of the sea and there is also the zero point of the city of Jakarta, and don't forget there is a maritime museum which contains the early history of the city of Jakarta

First time I heard Monas runs out of tickets. Maybe to go up the tower, yes. But you should be able to get to the underground museum and to the "plaza". Istiqlal Mosque is open. They have more than one gates. You should've asked around, use Google translate to help with the language.

You both should try Woosh (Fast train) from Halim Perdana station to Padalarang and continue with commuter line to Bandung in West Java. To go to Halim Station for Fast train, U can go with LRT from Dukuh atas or Kuningan area in Jakarta

If you are still in Jakarta, try come to an area called "Ancol" in North Jakarta, there you can see some sea, visit "Sea World" and even try the local amusement park called "Dufan", abbreviation of "Dunia Fantasi or Fantasy World". I guarantee you won't regret it.

Or If U wanna see a beautiful island. Just go to Bangka (Depati Amir Airport) or Belitung Island (Tanjung Pandang Airport) . Its only 50 minutes by flight from Soekarno hatta airport! U will see Seychelles panoramic of Indonesia. Even more beautiful then Seychelles
