I knew a guy from Ireland, he use to be the manager of the Bull & Bear restaurant in the Waldorf Astoria in NYC when it was open...He got his training at Ashford Castle he told me.

Hi, I am going to stay at Ashford Castle in Late August, but have a 2 year old son.Do you know if they have buggys/push chairs to get around the estate ??

It is around €600 - €2500 depending on your room

And if you want to just walk around you have to pay €10-€15 to get in and you must be staying there to go into the castle also there’s guards all around the estate and at every way into the castle they were big green coats

Maybe the food was a little below par because the Head Chef is German and not accustomed to the Irish/British palet. I maybe wrong in that I miscounted, and got my dates wrong as to who was Head Chef at the time of the release of this video. But whatever, if paying these prices, then Everything must be of the highest quality, and the quality can only be maintained if All guests communicate their disappoitments to the right instance. There are not many more of this type of Hotel and I say, Three Cheers to all the staff that work hours for the benefits of others, who want to escape the rat race and live another life, wether it be for just a couple of days or a whole week. Well done.

Medium rare is illegal in ireland?

It's against the cooking guidelines of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, enforced by the Health Service Executive, which insists that burgers not be offered rare or medium rare unless the restaurant can prove there are no safety issues.

Nor did we, although Ashford Castle isn't alone among historic properties in being space constrained and thus not being able to have more spacious and modern bathrooms.
