Fantastic video. My wife and I were just looking at Alliance 5th wheels today at our local dealer. Unfortunately, they did not have this unit on the lot, but I saw it in the Alliance brochure and really liked. Searched and found your video.

I usually wait till the end of a video to like it. I had to stop this one at the start to like and comment because I am with Pati. I prefer videos that start inside a trailer. That’s where you spend the time when you’re camping. Home is where the heart is! ❤ . If the inside doesn’t work the who cares about the pass through storage!

Wow! Congratulations it’s beautiful! So much more room for you and the pups! I LOVE THE LIGHT AND FRESH AIR, WHEN POSSIBLE!! Love the chair storage. Great spot for placements, napkins and table cloth! Every inch matters! The storage is simply amazing! Love the kitchen island! And your sweet bay pups approve! Glad you have a place to sit too! Thank you, thank you, thank you for someone FINALLY doing a COMPLETE video on the 2024 Alliance Avenue-All Access 29RL! Hi, we are Rahben and John. We must have watched your video on the 29RL at least 5 times! Reason, you give a thorough overview, which is no where else on KZfaq. The second reason, it is the model we have chosen as our first ever RV to purchase in the next few weeks. Other than the super max fan you noted you plan to upgrade on, is there anything we need to inquire about when we go to the dealership? We have not seen one in person yet, but feel it is the perfect couple’s 5th Wheel as a first RV. We have a sticks & bricks home and this purchase will give us the option to full time RVing. Thank you both again for an excellent showing.

@4:46 - Cup holders? Or PUP holders? I’m here all week :p Congrats, guys! I love this layout, especially the sofa along the back, all the windows, and the island. It looks like they’ve made great use of the available space. Also, +1 on RV Destinations. We got the print + digital subscription last year, and the printed magazine is a thing of beauty, Great writing, beautiful photography, and a premium feel. I’m not a pack rat but I’ve been holding on to the old issues just because it’s such a nice publication.

Hello Patrick, I have watched many of your videos. I have learned quite a bit over the years from your content. I want to thank you for the education. Our RV purchases follow in parallel to what you guys have purchased. We started with the Nucamp Tab 400, then the Lance 2285, and now we have the KZ D240RKD. We very much considered Alliance until we found the new KZ floorplan that was perfect for us. I drove from Massachusetts to Nappanee IN to purchase the 5th wheel in March 2024. We feel we got very good value and we are very happy with our purchase to date. I’m curious, since KZ is basically in your backyard, why you didn’t consider the KZ brand. Our 5th wheel floor plan is fantastic……. we have a full length closet, residential refrigerator, pantry, two AC’s, Maxxfan Deluxe, good suspension, tires, 50” TV with sound bar (all of it works great). There is also a wardrobe slide out along with prep for washer/dryer. It has a drop frame which allows for 35% more pass through storage. There is a small compartment for a flat grill and sink. Tank capacities and CCC is decent too. All just under 32'.

Beautiful new rig. I would think it will serve you guys very well. I am hoping you will be making a video of your CAT scale experience. It is typically one of my first stops anytime I get a new trailer or tow vehicle. For anyone that is towing their rig any significant distance, I consider this essential information. Once I am fully loaded for travel, I certainly want to know how much weight I have, and where it is located (steer, drive or trailer axles). It takes a bit of time and has a small cost, but well worth it in my opinion for safety and peace of mind. Continued safe travels....

We've changed our future plans from a Class C or B+ to a smallish 5th wheel. We're hoping to go coast to coast next year, and we're not sure a bumper pull is the way to go. We need road access, and mid camper stairs to fit in our limited driveway space. We've pretty much decided on a Cougar 23MLE, which has all the boxes ticked. Hoping to pick your brains, since it's all new to us. We've had our brand new trailer less than a year, so you're not alone in crazy fast trade-ins! Congrats, it looks beautiful!

Does that model allow access to the bathroom when traveling, (without extending a slide)?

@@DLHoltorf as far as I know, it has excellent road mode. I think the only part blocked with the slide in is the stove and microwave. We're still deciding what we want to do. Maybe by next year there'll be even more choices!

Congratulations, we pickup our 29rl Tue June 11. Been looking at it for awhile I'm concern on the pin weight got a 2019 Ram 2500 Laramie gasser but I think I'll be pushing the payload. Just have to be real conscious of how we load. If I had a lower trim model there would be no concern. Really dont want to bump up to a 3500 I like my truck, we'll see.

Great RV model. Can you open the fridge when the slides are closed? We often like to stop while traveling to grab a quick meal but often you can't open the slides

I don't know the exact measurement but I can tell you that with a 5th wheel, its typically almost the full length of the trailer as opposed to a tow behind where you typically loose about 3 feet for the tongue

Looks nice! I definitely love the access to the bathroom/bedroom while in transit (a must have for us) and the open main area. Like our 5th wheel, we have the same steps and while they are very sturdy, they require quite a bit of room to deploy and in some situations they can prevent access to the trailer. How does the truck tow the new rig? Is it taller than the previous trailer? We almost bought an Alliance last year but our stock truck was too tall to tow it level without a lift kit installed. We ended up going with a Rockwood as it was taller. Enjoy the new trailer and stay safe! Bill in Utah

The Lippert frame issue has been on the larger ones and toy haulers. I haven't seen any issues with the frames on the smaller ones like ours. Fingers crossed.

Patrick , When does it show that that rv was built on your sticker doesn't show on camera shot only asking because alliance is showing 29RL GVWR 10995 and Dry Wt 9488 which cuts cargo capacity down to 1507 Looking at purchasing alliance model also are there two grey tanks? shows 106gal 53gal each tank? 1 sewer connection? Out manufacturing date was 3/2024. The sticker on our unit lists the GVWR at 11,895#. On the tanks, there is a gray tank for the bathroom and a 2nd gray tank for the kitchen. Those along with the black tank all are emptied through a single outlet

Hey pat nice RV. I have a question 🙋♂️? When you install the 600 amps of lithium Battery’s .Did you have to get a dc to dc charger for the truck to charger the batteries or Did you have to remove the trucks battery supply at the 7 way plug from the truck cause lithium is charged at a different voltage as lead acid .

Pick up our Avenue 29RL next week and have some questions. We have a 2024 GMC 2500 diesel and have not chosen our hitch. Leaning towards the Anderson ultimate. Do you like your hitch? Would you buy the same hitch today? Is there more clearance between the truck rails and fifth wheel on the 29RL than the 22ML? How sharp of turn can you achieve with your setup? Thanks, Len C

Yes...that is the plan. The plan is to go south in the winters and work at Happy Acres Campground here in Angola, Indiana in the summers.

We basically have the GMC version of the truck you have. Can you tell me what size bed you have and what hitch you use? We're looking to trade our bumper pull for the Avenue 29rl and have never pulled a 5th wheel. TIA

12 rv's in 20 years ? Wouldn't it make sense to spend a couple years researching rv's, floorplans , types & features, then buy your last rv first ? We spent years going to rv shows looking & dreaming. Found it & have had it for 8 years now. No desire to sell.
