PTFE is much much harder to work with / build. Its an awesome line and would be needed for anything ran inside the cabin of a vehicle. As for this where its all exterior i prefer their steel braided line.

Should’ve definitely went in depth with setting up the AN fittings with the fuel line... I’m looking to do TGV deletes, rails and lines on my 05 wrx, and I’m intimidated due too I never built a fuel line kit, still over all great video... after watching you set up dual hanger it and seeing the lines laid out, looks like a walk in the park

I decided 4 inch is what I will go for and the only thing that’s keeping me away from ordering is the anodizing part. If I call them Tomm I would like to bring up your name so they know you are the one that made me decided to go with over ETS over your awesome KZfaq content!

Hey Josh. I have a 2016 sti. I also want to do the walbaro 450 mod on my stock hangers. It still confuses me on how it gets installed in the feed connection in hanger assembly where o-rings go in-? Any tips with securing pump and hard wiring power to 450 pump-? Thanks man, love the Vids!

Hello so I got my car back from the shop afterva block swap i did my 50 mile oil change and noticed there was oil in the timing cover like in the groove where ths front meets the back of the cover if that makes sense it directly below the cam gear or timing gear? Its strange that the seal would be leaking as its a brand new seal but do you think it could still leak?

Hey, Mr! I have few questions. I am ordering the ETS FMI for my 2018 sti. Will it be ok to get the anodizing FMI in black against outside elements and second question is should I get the 4 inches thickness or stick with 3.5 and I am aware that 3.5 is better fit but because I will not be cutting the top bumper off due the same reasons you are not because it looks awful but get the 4 inch might make up just a little for the cutting a huge hole in my bumper. My goal is setting my self up for lots of power in the future so I want to avoid buying things twice. Most likely you will be the guy for my build in the next year or so. Thank you in advance.

Do i need a anti surge kit like in the old stis? Or is the intank fuel system of the new stis good enouth? I like to run 500hp @ the crank on pump gas with 1050cc. Just updatet the injectors, fuel pressure regulator and the fuelpump.

the car running to rich injector duty cycle is at 2.3% at idle. The correction is maxed out to negative-35 and afr sensor still reads 11.14. Can you advise the next step? Check engine light is cobb3 and p0172. I just ordered cobb fuel pressure sensor to see if that helps?

Any thoughts on Vibrant PTFE braided versus the less expensive stuff? I noticed you used the regular hose in this video (PN11978). Looks like the PTFE (PN18978) is a little tougher, but not sure if it is harder to work with on fittings, less flexible, etc.

PTFE requires more tools and much harder to work with. I’d highly suggest against it unless you are experienced with it 👍

I'm planning on buying a used STI 2015+ what year would you recomend looking for. I'm planning on doing a 400hp build with a stock motor and bolt ons...love the videos and any advice would be great thanks

400hp or 400whp? Two much different demands. I tell customers 380whp pump 92/ 450whp e85 is end of reliability on a stock engine.

I talked to him about this Mike, I have a 2020 series white and he wasn’t high on the new pistons and doesn’t trust them up that high. I would suggest one of his more mild short blocks, cheap for how much power they can hold, and really built for it

Stock pistons are cast and weak i wouldnt trust it i just messed up a piston and had to get an IAG block to make sure it doesnt happen again.

Around 10k im getting close to 450ish and im FBO on E85 minus manifold and turbo it costs a lot just to get there and the stock pistons are weak so youll need an upgrade for a reliable car.

E85STI ik Canadian so that’s close to $20k... yeah I’ll go stage 1, exhaust, coils and tints and get a car that won’t break bank for power. Thank you
