Seriously... he really is an amazing guy. I always liked him (seemed like a kind soul to me) but him getting through this with such grace, his drug addiction, losing his mom as a teen, and I'm sure 100 other things like all of us... Like you said, he's a survivor and it sounds funny to say about a rockstar recovering drug addict but, we could all learn something from him.

Larry's been cutting people off since the dawn of time. Back when he interviewed the guy who wrote the bible, he was doing the same thing. He's not going to stop that anytime soon.

I was never a fan, never even knew who he was. I was watching tv one day and happened to see him on a reality show years ago. God spoke to me and told me to pray for him and every since that day I have prayed for this man. We really don’t t know how much God loves us. . I was so shocked when I heard about the crash but I never told anyone about the experience I had. Today I want to give God the glory because it’s because of his grace, and his mercy that this amazingly talented man is still in the land of the living. Thank you God for sparing Travis’s life. Get glory out if his life.🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

This story is so tragic. Especially that he is now the lone survivor. I just can’t imagine how painful and horrible that must have been physically and mentally. I also find it impressive that this story isn’t his entire personality. A lot of times a tragedy this large defines a person (and there’s nothing wrong with that) but when I think of Travis barker, this isn’t the first thing that comes to mind.

RIP Lil Chris, Che, and my man DJ AM. I cannot believe this happened almost 8 years ago. I've read his book twice, and this part of the book, detailing the crash, gives me the chills. For those who doubt Travis Barker and how fucked up they were IMMEDIATELY after the crash, there's a really sad video that should have NEVER been released, but it clearly shows the plane still on fire in the background, two figures outside the plane (Adam and Travis) and Travis pleading with police that their friends are on the plane still. Horrendous that someone would feel the need to put that online or public, but now that it's there, i guess it's the best way to shut down naysayers. God bless Travis Barker. My hero.
