Many polls, questions, and surveys were done with Native Americans across the country. As with any subject the answers they got varied. Some cared and some didn't. The Washington Football team and the Cleveland Baseball team made changes after they received answers from their investigations. The Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Florida State Seminoles didn't feel the need and weren't pressured into changing their names. The Braves did get some backlash related to their tomahawk chop celebration though. The Cleveland Indians had more of a problem with the characture of the mascot and team logo before just changing the name all together. Redskins was just the easiest to change. It comes the closest to just sounding flat out racist. If you went around calling any human black skins, white skins, or yellow skins; you would be hit with immediate negative feedback. Redskins couldn't survive 2020's new view on that name. We live in a society where they removed veins from the top of a Snickers candy bar because it made someone uncomfortable.

It also depends where the teams are located and the political leanings of that area. Washington DC is a very blue area of the country. While Kansas City is also a blue city, it’s set between two red states. It just depends on if the people in that city are offended by the name or not.

Do some research as to why the Chiefs are named the Chiefs. They are named after a Mayor "The Kansas City Chiefs were named for H. Roe Bartle, the mayor of Kansas City in the early 1960s. If Taylor and Travis did break up it doesn't mean he was playing with her. Geez. It would mean they are not for each other. And even if Taylor still liked him, she would finally have to be mature enough to know no matter who she likes, they have to like her back. What she did which years later she said she regrets was try to ruin a young singer all because he broke up with her in a phone call. Big deal. Plenty of females break up in a phone call. Especially when Jonas and Taylor hardly were an item. But was she really over that from so many years ago when Jonas and Sophia were getting a divorce and she wasn't really friends with Sophia at all but gave Sophia her apt to use and had Sophia join her and her close friends while the divorce was going on. It seems like Taylor did not fully get out of her revenge mode then. This is my worry because Travis is so not a revengeful person, neither are his parents and brother. His parents are divorced but are still good friends and they never have said a bad word about each other. Their goal together was always their sons. Being with a revengeful person even if not directed at Travis himself would be awful for Travis. Actually, it is a terrible trait to have.
