I prefer the look of the mocha wrapping all the way around the shoe, because I think it plays better with different lace colors. I also like the longer suede on the TS. But I think I like the original detailing better. The TS detailing is attractive, but yeah, kind of gimmicky/hypebeasty. As a poor (wo)man, I am supremely grateful to have gotten the version made especially for me and am not gonna complain about anything sneakers-related for the rest of the year lmao.

I'm just not a fan of tumbled leather but I do like the worn look on the travis scotts. The sole is kind of yellow-white and it looks really nice. I'm still gonna have to go with the mochas.

The mochas like you said are just rockable so for me it’s the mochas I don’t have the TS1s and I like those alot but also I wouldn’t want to wear em as much if at all

Price on the Mocha's Sky Rocketing. I got mine for $300 a couple days after release off the local FB group. That's the best place to buy\sell, avoid the Stockx and GOAT fees, taxes, and shipping. I was bummed paying $300 but they're going for $450 now in my size 11. They only came out a couple months ago which tells you these Mocha's will be $600+ by the end of 2021. The quality on my pair is fire but I've never inspected a TS1 in person.

I have both as well, and the material quality on the scotts is obv higher. But you are right about rockability, like you I can't find it in myself to put those bad boys to the ground lol. Will def be rocking my mochas

J1 Mocha is way better, the J1 Travis is more on hype. Just look at the design's detail. Sadly, it's hard to cop J1 especially with the limited release.

I never knew about that stash pocket lol. The mocha is a little bit more lighter brown. Like it has more gray in the brown than the Travis Scott.

I'm Not a Fan of Brown Anyways so both are a drop for me but I've Seen both on feet and actually prefer the Mocha I Love the Chicago Colorblocking but I think the Brown works better with the Black Toe inspired Colorblocking

When I first saw the Travis’ I didn’t know what they were or anything but I immediately thought that they were sick because of how unique they were. The mocha’s are meh for me, they’re ok but I really hate the black on it

me personally: I really hate the mocha color blocking. IMO If I get a shoe that is supposed to be brown it should look brown from all angles. From the front i just looks like a black and white jordan

If I was able to buy the ts1’s at retail, yeah I’d be hesitant to unDS the shoe....HOWEVER if I pay resell for them, I’d lace them up the minute they arrived at my door. No way I’m not wearing or using something I paid mad money for, especially a goddamn shoe just just my opinion

I think the Travis Scott’s are overrated. They’re unique- which caused the hype- so I can see why some people like them. The Shadow is my go to Jordan but I would definitely wear the Mochas over the TS. I haven’t had good luck with suede on shoes though, I’d pay retail for Mochas if my size was available but I wouldn’t even pay retail for the TS. Jordan 1s are my go to sneakers but I get turned off by overly hyped products. Great content in your videos!

Buy a good suede water repellent spray and Rock'em!, water doesn't afftect the suede on a rainy days! BTW sneaker heads fyi, Suede needs to breath to stay soft, if you want to main it's integrity regarding the soft movement of the suede do not keep them in a box and wear them. Remember Suede & Leather are breathable materials if you don't use them and condition them it will start to break down over time. Peace..

Yeah, you're talking about a quarter of the price at the most! I love it, the Travis I truly love but I'm not about to throw 2gs for 1 pair. You could have about 6 pairs of Mocha's. Hypebeasts will always take the Travis. I love both, but if I had bread I would take the Travis all day!

Got the mochas manually 🙏🏽😭 lord blessed me with a second chance because I was on the pending screen for 13 minutes to tell me sold out but then I saw it was still available and I saw 10 I was back in line and I got em so when I get em in hand I’m hoping I can exchange em for a size 9 (my size)

The Travis Scott aj1 set the tone for the brown suede on Jordan 1’s. the Travis Scott affect is channeling sneaker heads the Mochas are nice but for everyone saying they would rather have the mochas the reason you like em is cause you directly on indirectly like the Travis Scott.
