Your absolutely right. Travis is a very smart armwrestler with his own unique philosophie. In another video he noticed how BOTH straps go under the wrist of Oleg Zhokh. And hey John Brzenk is listening carefully to his seminar :-)))

@Demidar3 жыл бұрын
been doing this since i heard him say it the first time, and guys, the towel thing ? if you really use it, works alot better ! it targets alot of the minor fast twitch muscles in the hand and forarm because of the unequal grip , compared to a straight grip with a gripper. Thats why it works so well. And ive been doing this for a little over a year

@Nick-cp8wf3 жыл бұрын
Awesome presentation. Grippers have gotten my hands pretty darn strong. A lot of armwrestlers like to discredit them but if you do them right your finger containment and hand durability/strength will skyrocket. Its not a necessity but if you can close highlevel grippers at a relatively wide set then its more power to you. Crushing the towel at a max effort is surprisingly an amazing way to build the hand/forearm. Using the towel to grease the groove when emulating the set grip, closing your thumbs, closing your hand, is a great way to get use to building strength/speed and power in that motion. Anything you can get stronger is of course an advantage. Having a rock for a hand only can help in the set grip and usually doesnt give your opponent an opportunity to settle into their strengths. Any way to build momentum before the go is a huge advantage. More to learn.
