Travis and Katie, she will not remember how many gifts she got on her first Christmas. You guys are wonderful parents. Do not stress over it. Hailey likes everything. She is such a sweet baby.

Since she is so very curious, I highly suggest you cover the plugs in your house now and put the safety things on the cabinets /doors etc. time to baby proof 😊

Hi Clark Family!!! So glad to know that you had a fun and completely memorable Christmas!!! Here’s something you might try as Hailey is teething. Buy some small infant size washcloths. Run them under REALLY cold water and then get a rubber band to put around the edges, gathering it up so it could look like a ghost or popsicle. Make sure to wring it out about halfway or so to leave some cold water on it. That way Hailey can learn how to pick it up and gnaw on it wherever her mouth hurts. She will have to be shown how to do it but once she knows how good it feels on her gums, she will be sold. My mom taught me this MANY years ago when pacifiers weren’t very popular. You will need to keep the rag in a ziplock bag so it can be easily placed in the fridge or diaper bag. You might have a few extra cloths as backup and when you actually launder them. It’s something old but it gives sooo much relief to them WITHOUT medication. 💕💕💕💕💕💕. Have fun in Tennessee!!!

One of our favorite traditions each year on New Year's Eve. We keep a jar on the counter adding strips of paper of favorite things we've done, places we've traveled, answered prayers, accomplishments our kids and us have done as the year progresses. On New Year's Eve we sit together as a family and take turns reading the strips. It's so fun seeing how God has blessed us throughout the year.

2nd comment! When I was little, my Momma left one cabinet unlocked so that I could get into the pots and pans. It allowed me to discover. Pretty much, she had to put away pots and pans daily, but she got some wonderful pictures of me, and I clearly loved it! Maybe you could leave one cabinet unlocked for Hayley? Something safe like Tupperware or pots and pans would be so nice for her to explore ❤

We have 4 kids, our second got a rocking lamb for Christmas 12 years ago...we still have it. It's so cute, I just can't part with it. ❤

I found when my kids were little not to over do it because they got overwhelmed. Usually the ones that we would spend a lot of money on, are the ones they ended up not playing with. It’s the little items we didn’t spend nothing on that they play with. So instead of 10 nice gifts we started getting them 2 nice ones and then just smaller ones. This worked until they became school age! lol!
