This is an old video, don't know what the current situation is. Those chain nets deverstate the echo system. Over the years the fisherman's policy of catch everything regardless has reduced the once thriving fish population to this level. Its just plain greedy.

Ha ha . Bunch of light weight MUPPET. I worked on trawlers & gill neters in the early 80s, in the cod wars . When Fisherman were Fisherman. Put are lives on the line, in the North sea. Sailing out from Grimsby. 3 weeks out at sea , a week home, & back out again.

The next generation will have nothing left in the oceans. Very sad. I appreciate these boys are earning a living. I eat fish, myself. But man has destroyed the sea.

@@jase4270 Living by the sea all my life. Seeing the boats bringing back boatloads of fish. That was the 1970' and 80's. Then the stocks collapsed. Now in my local port there are no fishing trawlers. Only prawn trawlers. Where do you get your information from?

Some dont realise that scalloping happens in areas known for scallops the problem is over fishing and declining numbers which is why the seasons are managed. Soon we will be eating scallops designed in a lab lol

They've no thought for conservation. The fisherman's policy is to catch everything regardless. It's no wonder that there's so few fish about.

4:20 wow are you kidding me… no fish because of over fishing. Friggen hair dryer and rubbish,well what does that tell ya!! Just destroyed the ocean floor and scrapped up all crustacean life🤮🤮🤮🤬🤬🤬🤬 and to think every net lost becomes an eternal death trap of sea life!!!
