Traxxas ESC green red light flashing and will not run check low voltage detection for LiPo vs NiMH

7 ай бұрынA solid geen esc light is LiPo mode and the car will not run in this mode with a NiMH battery. You need to disable the low-voltage detection in the esc. Go to minute 2:00 for a quick reference although the steps are almost the same for putting it into LiPo mode (start of the video).

Im not getting any flashing lights on my Latrax esc or will it let me calibrate. The transmitter light will be on while the esc light off. Do I have bad esc?

It sounds like it. Have you set the end points?

I'm having issues with the esc blinking red/green when a fully charged 3s lipo is plugged in. works fine with nimh... any ideas?

This video should take care of it. You are probably in NiMH mode. You need to switch to LiPo mode.

@@telecomandorc figured it out.. 3S isn't supported on a Traxxas Rustler with an XL-5 ESC.

I am diagnosing but now the esc light blinks or goes off when pressing throttle

Have the Tx on. Turn off the esc. Press and hold the power button until the red light blinks. Put fur throttle, it will blink twice, go full brake. It should blink and be set. If not, not sure. It could be the esc.

@@chaser1357 Might be the esc. Castle has a nice system. I have videos installing one in a LaTrax Prerunner. Too fast though.
