those are paddle tires- if you have a rc car, than when its at full throttle, and the wheels will start balooning out crazy far, if you mount one of these paddle tires, you could do something like this yourself. trust me, i tried it. but you need at least a 4-5S brushless rc car to achive those kinds of RPM

@@ayu6841 Do you know what a buggy is? it is an off-road vehicle that has four large tires for traction on high speeds and at is meant to go on uneven surfaces. In some cases it could work on water. Most buggies are meant for going in on mud and sand, and in some cases they could go uphills at the same time. It is kind of a sports vehicle since they are commonly used for racing in sports. Edit: Two large wheels behind and who small wheels on the front.

The Slayer Pro 4X4 runs on nitro, while all of our Slash vehicles run on batteries (except the Nitro Slash).

Good eye! That was one of the zip ties we use to keep the landing ramp and tabletop from separating. The force was so strong with that landing that the zip tie snapped and flew off.

I've already replied this to a few comments, but: Don't think your Slash can skim water like the one in the video. This one had special tires, easily visible at about 1:25. They were most likely air-filled to be buoyant and also have ribs built in that help it put down power on water. If you try this with your Slash it'll probably not work too well afterwards, which may have been Traxxas's plan all along (jk).

Good luck with seized bearings going through any water , once the bearings get water inside not even wd40 works they just go downhill from that point , I learned that going through a lot of bearings that are not cheap !

The slash 4x4 is awesome. Hydroplaning is one of the sellers for the 4x4 model. I only have the 2wd model, but I run it in the rain a lot

love the pool scene...i have owned many R/C cars over time, R/C10, team lis truck, traxxas Nitro buggy W/.15 , Slash ( upgraded) ...and may others they all seemed to have the same issues drive shafts and tire rods , transmissons and gear boxes were never a real issue if i did aftermarket parts to upgraded them , I had a HPI RS4 MT, went to a ball slip rear diff and a soild diff in the front loved it after that plus many other upgrades i miss that truck along with the rock crawler i had ...and well all my cars really what i wouldnt give to get them all back
