That melting issue of the wheel I'm sure is common..one thing I can tell u for sure is that issue happens alot less with the mip hexes, they are super sharp and stay that way. U need mip axles on the front of course to use those. Or buy the aluminum center pieces for those wheels.

Yeah it is a fairly common issue……unfortunately the MIP hexes still have spun in my wheels before….that’s why I don’t use them

@@modzilla74 well I run the GPM wheel hex claws…..but I’d have to buy the Traxxas Branded Paddle Tires in order to run them…..but I might still do that

Cool video with your ultimate basher slash 4x4, I will soon have 2 Slash 4x4's and both will be near platinum or ultimate spec i have my personal one and my 2nd one will be converted from a Stampede 4x4 VXL and i'm planning to make it like my childhood Slash 4x4.

@@RCKnockout Yeah, I have a lot of cool projects coming soon i might get an Arrma Vendetta next month. After i get it convert my Stampede to a slash and do a few other things. Next year i will start saving up for a 5T 2.0 and all the parts to get it running.

Loved the video, I am just wondering what happened to the front MIP driveshafts on the fronts?

I’ve still got them….there’s nothing wrong with them but when I run the paddles I have been using the stock style hex and pin….which unfortunately you can’t run with the MIP shafts….that’s the one thing I don’t like about them….but that’s also what makes them so tough too

Man it can take a beating but I would suggest reinstalling the stock bumper it’s design is more durable than the rpm bumper

That’s probably true with the front…..But the rear RPM bumper is just about as durable as the stock one

It would be cool if u could find a jump that's actually landable.. that fall u jump from just seams like car abuse. Imo.
