Watch Part 2: • Tray Deee on Throwing ...
-----------------------
Tray Deee shared his thoughts on X-Raided calling gangs "parasitic organisms" in his recent interview with VladTV. The West Coast rapper explained that while he doesn't view his gang that way, he can understand how X-Raided, who was locked up at 17 in the early '90s, can feel that way.
Tray Deee explained that X-Raided had no time to be a kid, adding that he had to grow up immediately upon going to prison before he was legally an adult. Tray Deee added that X-Raided probably realized that he sacrificed his life for the gang when he was just a kid, but Tray Deee added that he always tries to steer his young homies away from doing bad things. To hear more of what he had to say, hit the above clip.

Gang/Street life is parasitic. X-Raided was 100% on point with that statement. Everyone that subscribes to the streets ends up losing their life or their freedom The cold part is when I see a young brothers lose their lives and after a few sidewalk memorials and their faces on t-shirts, these young Black men quickly become distant memories and it is back to business as usual for the Block/Gang they represented. It is a sad waste of life.

I couldn't agree more. Very well said. Like Big Herc(who is also from Sacramento and who has interviewed X-Raided) said, be a square and a nerd or get a trade(and a lot of skilled trades actually pay very well) or be an entrepreneur of some kind. But the gang/street life is indeed a sad waste of time-and of life.

@@contentgenius3290 you're talking about a few who made it. What about the many thousands who are dead or locked up? Not a good success ratio. Just like Vegas, the house always wins and there will always be a next guy. If you're doing dirt its only a matter of time before it catches up to you.

Leon Henry tray been a rapper even after bidz! And that’s exactly my point tray ain’t got the wisdom that a man who had most of his life behind bars time to reflect on life on a intimate level of analyzing life and the structures behind it like x did...... no love lost from tray but X is the big homie on this convo folks and his opinion carry’s a lot more weight then trays..... facts...... any man who tries to open the eyes of others through seeing reality over someone who’s trying to say my gang never acted like that ! is a winner above the person promoting gang life...... the Person that shows harsh realities from experience will always win over someone trying to seem cool and promote nonsense

Gangs have it's positives and negatives, more negatives though, that outweigh the understandable personal benefits like money, family, and clothes. Pretty much the necessities. But the negatives are how to meet those needs like slangin and robbin and the consequences like jail time, death, PTSD/shell-shocked, and possibly being crippled from ballistic trauma, hard to get a job because of a rap sheet. Gangs only bring short term joy with long term pain

Gangs thrive in the absence of families and resources. Throw a bunch of kids in single parent homes with no money and all kinds of negative things are going to develop. When you have entire communities where the men don't have gainful employment bad things happen. We can tell young men not to join gangs or get involved in the streets all day long. But if there are no true alternatives for them then gangs will still thrive.

x-Raided drop an ill refutable truth bomb! But also in the spirit of understanding. Big tray deee could never spew a statement such as x-raided did on this subject because it would almost come across as if he would be disrespecting or turning his back on gang culture in general or simply his neighborhood. So from tray deee's perspective he is absolutely right!..but over all, I tend to side with x-raided on this ONE because of the nature of his explanation & its overall descriptiveness.

J-Boogie Brown During the Japanese feudal system, it was pretty much tribal warfare. They were killing each other similar to gangs on the street. I guess they were called noble because they were apart of an elite warrior class, a step up above poverty. Some of them were oppressing peasants. Some were righteous and some were brutal. This guy sticks to his gang code in a similar matter. Japanese will probably look down on it because it's not Japanese. Many of them have a superior complex.

divine1son exactly the yakuza Literally claim and have never been corrected, to be the descendants of samurai. Samurai in the modern age. Don’t let movies and cartoons over exaggerate their nobility.

If you really have "love for" your brother, keep him from going down the wrong path. You can't do that when you're hitting licks with him. Show him to love and respect himself then he will love and respect his community. This is not taught in many homes because the brothers have coward from their responsibilities, run from accountability and have become agents in the white man's proxy war to destroy our community. Therefore if you representing something that exists on destruction of our community, you are not a brother, you are an infidel and community should not accept you until you learn to walk righteous.

Blacks bounce around from SNY yards and GP all the time. There politics aren't the same the whites and Mexicans. It's not uncommon for bloods and crips to program with snitches, rapists, and chomo's. Not trying to diss that's just the facts.
