Juan Manuel Marquez is one tough son of a gun and clearly, without a doubt, one of the greatest warriors to step foot in the ring. This man helped the Great Sport of Boxing evolve through out the years he spent committed to making it The Greatest Sport on the Planet! So much respect for Mr. Marquez and thanks for all he has done for boxing, so pleased that he is able to retire with his health and hope he enjoys retirement.

Una pelea muy limpia y muy técnica.

This was a very underrated victory from Timothy Bradley that he doesn't get enough credit for. People must of forgot that this was the same version of Marquez that knocked Pacquiao out in their 4th fight and he also had Angel Memo Herdia as his strength and conditioning coach for the Bradley fight. People also forget that Marquez didn't want to adhere to any VADA testing for this fight with Bradley because VADA does Carbon Isotope Ratio and Memo knew he would of got popped if they would of did it,(That's the real reason why) so he only decided to do USADA and that's because there's ways to be the test, and a TUE is one of the remedies, not only that, they allow a 6.1 limit, which is a lot higher than what VADA allowed which was only a 4.1. The boxing commission threaten to strip Bradley of his title of he didn't take the fight because he opted not to take the fight once he found out Marquez didn't want to do VADA testing and only USADA. They played Bradley going into this fight. Bradley however did both VADA and USADA for this fight and he still defeated Juan Manuel Marquez, which is why this victory gets over looked. It's a lot more impressive when you look at all of those factors. Marquez went on to destroy Mike Alvarado after this fight with Bradley and than retire.

Two good fighters, hard punchers

The commentators were clearly fans of Bradley. Bradley was a hell of a boxer but these guys were so enamored with him that they convinced themselves that Bradley dominated. He didn't. Marquez did a hell of a job. To watch this match, one needs to turn the volume off to not get convinced of something it wasn't.

Bradley had amazing hand speed and was a smart aggressor I honestly can't see why he lacked a real fanbase. He's also stood and banged with the best just to prove a point. I honestly believe he should be a HOF

Bradley is such an unorthodox fighter who Marquez never figured out. Bradley had him confused and off his game plan. The last round was a perfect example when JMM was pushing forward in a last ditch effort and got caught with a left hand and almost went down. JMM looked old for much of the fight, but I caught glimpses of his once brilliant mastery of the game. Great fight!,

Marquez, after this fight, again saying he was robbed. Lol! He does that on every fight. I can understand it with Pacquiao 2 and 3 but all his other losses he kept complaining he got robbed. here, it's clear he was outclassed.

The punchstat numbers on this fight showed that their total connects were almost equal. Where Marquez seperates himself from Bradley is in a slightly better connect percentage and the fact that he outlanded Bradley by 30 punches in the power connect category. Most people including the media scored the fight for Bradley, I scored for Marquez 7 rounds to 5. Note to those that think they know how to score, shuffling your feet and prancing around a ring in a manner of saying, "you cant catch me" doesn't win rounds. The fight was close, but for those that had Bradley winning comfortably, all I can say is that the only way to score the fight comfortably for Bradley is to place value on athleticism, the posing the hopping around the ring with spring in his step like an athlete would do. The only problem is that athleticism isn't a scoring criteria The scoring criteria places an emphasis on clean punching and effective aggression, neither of which Tim Bradley employed in this fight.

Much respect to Bradley, he absolutely win no doubt I watch this fight so many times Bradley has skills to beat Marquez but much respect also to Marquez he fight for his legacy. 2 future hallfamer great fight
