The funny thing is, this one doesn't even have the N2 engine cover. Thats really sleeper if anyone wants to look under the hood. They will never know whats coming.

If only the AE86s were produced en masse like the Miata. Toyota could churn out close to 500K units for both Trueno and Levi for 15 years if it wants to. It's one of the best affordable performance car.

stock power rating for the blacktop 20v 4age are actually closer to 155hp and that was at 7800 rpm. its actually pretty impressive how trd was able to get 240hp from it even if it was a 11000rpm.

Still takumi XD cause Project D did the same settings, lower the RPM to allow higher average power. Instead of having a high RPM but rarely used to the max. It wasn't until the finale that limiter is removed.

Little late. But yes in fact you can. Closest thing is the Manon Racing 1.9L 9age and hasselgren Lantic motor. Both screaming 250hp. Costs a lot of money since dry sump and everything else needs to be added etc.

Yes but it’s kinda dumb to lol. Tsyuchia’s personal AE86 had a 7A-GE and makes about 220whp with a 9000-9500rpm limit with far more torque than this

That was pretty much the old setup of that TRD N2 AE86, and this footage came out in late 90's. It clocked at 1:00:78 in its most recent setup (15" RS Watanabe wheels, different cam profile and gear ratio, N2 spoiler extension, etc.)

304 degrees camshaft, trd head, dry oil sump, 11.5 compression ratio, trd crankshaft, try pistons and rods both forged. ect ect. If you want to have all the specs to build one, search in the corolla bible, you have all the reference, parts needed and miling/polishing details
