I have been a recovered drug addict for 7 years now, and I'm a good mother. I would never do anything like that to any of my babies. I lost my first son of pneumonia and was accused of killing him by his abusive father. I hope she will get through this pain and suffering cause losing a child is a pain that no one could imagine. I'm praying she will get through this pain without going back to the drugs. I hope he will get what he deserves, and she heals. Being a drug addict doesn't make you a killer or a bad person just sick.

@@lovelyrita4953her drug abuse was no excuse for Christopher taking it out on the child! She was trying everything to get her son out of there, and get back custody. If she slipped up on her recovery.., it probably was bc she was feeling defeated by the system. It’s not HER fault he was beating on poor Corey! (So I’m agreeing with you. How the courts can allow a man unsupervised visits with a child conceived via a SA is crazy! But if I was ever SA by a man I would NEVER try to get support because all that does is open the door to visitation rights and how on earth could you trust someone with your child knowing what they are already capable of!

He took the kid away due to her addiction. He was probably the one to push for that. Not because he was concerned about the boy, but because he wanted to have power and control. There’s no way to know if her drug use made her a bad mom. Nobody is perfect. I hope all of those who cast judgement, don’t drink alcohol, or take prescription medications, or have a shopping addiction, or gambling. Because those things can have negative effects on children. This woman obviously loved her son. This guy never gave a crap about that boy. He just didn’t want to get out on child support. He has to have the final say and power over everything.

In itself, no. She is quite good at playing the victim, though, when she's not. The first I heard Corey's story was on a podcast where the host had spoken to Breanna. That podcast would have you believe she became pregnant due to an assault, dad had nothing to do with the child until mom went for child support. Dad then sought visitation (maybe partial custody? Don't remember. But according to breanna he ended up at least getting visitation). Abuse started/happened during visitation. In another story she claims the child support thing came about due to her applying for welfare. Unlike she seemingly would have people believe, she lost custody to dad at some point due to drugs. Seems to me she is a liar and loser

@daniellebenfield95 she isn't THE victim, but she is A victim in this. She lost her baby for goodness sakes! I don't get that from her at all. I knew nothing of this case, haven't watched or listened to the first thing about it and the only thing I have watched so far is her testimony. By listening to her testimony, I was under the impression she has been a drug addict and lost custody because of it. She seems pretty straight forward to me. It doesn't seem like she's trying to hide that fact, she admitted she's had a problem with drug addiction. What more would you want from her?

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), children under the age of 16 should not use treadmills. This is because treadmills are not designed for children's smaller bodies and their lack of coordination and balance, which can put them at risk of injury.22 Feb 2023

Thank you! I kept thinking that surely children aren't supposed to use treadmills, and surely there's some kind of documentation or rules or something. That sets a pretty well-defined guideline, imho, and as the father of that little boy, the defendant had the duty of care to ASK the child's pediatrician is this okay or safe to start him on a physical exercise program that includes the use of a treadmill. I know I would. Before my kids could start basketball, baseball, football, etc they had to have a thorough check up and authorization from the doctor that they were physically capable and able to play said sport. They should be able to charge the father just on that, because even adults are advised to see their doctor before starting any physical fitness program.

@Supraordinare Ай бұрын
Not sure why my comment was deleted as it is a scientific fact. Grown men can die from over strenuous physical activity. To make a long story short, it can cause acute kidney failure and there is a 6 year being forced on a treadmill to do so? NO WAY.

I know that everyone is entitled to a defence, but wow. The way they are treating Breanna leaves me feeling furious. She is a victim here, her baby has been MURDERED by that abuser. That putrid lawyer is dragging her through the mud in a futile attempt to make that murderer look better. Well it wont work, buddy. Any human being with a 1/4 of a brain can see that slandering the mother is just a tactic. I dont know how that lawyer sleeps at night, what a horses arse.

I think if these Court TV commentators are going to have discussions regarding the case and testimony they should have their facts correct before they speak. This child did not die at the 2nd hospital that his mother took him to. She took him to the first hospital who then wanted to transport him to the second hospital. She opted to drive him herself to the second one because the child's father was BLOWING UP her phone harassing her via text because she was late dropping off the child at his house. She drove the child to THE FATHERS house the next morning. He then texted her that afternoon and asked for the child's insurance card because the child was lethargic. He then took him to a hospital, and refused to tell the mother what hospital he took him to. The child passed away at the hospital where is father took him. That FATHER DIDN'T even the decency to call the mother to tell her their son had passed away. THE POLICE knocked on her door that afternoon and THAT is how she was informed her child died. This was all in her testimony on Direct examination YESTERDAY! And his harassing text messages were read aloud in court during her testimony. Court TV, DO BETTER and get your facts straight! Shame on you!

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), children under the age of 16 should not use treadmills. This is because treadmills are not designed for children's smaller bodies and their lack of coordination and balance, which can put them at risk of injury.22 Feb 2023

I cannot, for the life of me, understand how these hosts and guests think this defense attorney is doing a good job. I think he comes across as a bully and he is clearly not effective in getting the mother upset or stressed. And I love how one of them said “the alleged abuse” or words to that effect. The video CLEARLY shows him abusing this child. If he did THAT in public, can you imagine what he did behind closed doors?!
