What an awful monster.Making a 6 year old to run on the treadmill for so long, his legs must have been aching, he falls of tiredness and the monster puts him back on the running treadmill and watches him fall numerous times. If I had seen that video, it’s game over. How many of us have fallen off a treadmill, it bloody hurts and leaves you black and blue. He was a 6 year old, running for 12 minutes, no break no water. He was so exhausted he didn’t have the energy to tense when he fell, that many falls, on his chest, his side, what would be the damage. The man is a monster.

Anything and everything she did pales in comparison to the treadmill incident. The courts protected the father and did not afford this sweet boy the same luxury. This is the 2nd trial I see about a kid taken from a mother using drugs but no history of abuse and they give the kid to an abusive father who kills the child

This is horrific. One of my daughter's friends died in elementary school from a treadmill accident. The friend was playing on one. They are so dangerous for children. It should be illegal for young children to be on treadmills. This father is a an atrocious parent to not even consider the danger those falls did to his child. He is having no emotional reaction either. A warped mind and lack of empathy. Probably a psychopath and a narcissist.

I'm really hating these court TV professionals-Cory was not with his mom when he died, he was with his dad, his mom was frantically calling hospitals and police trying to locate him. Court TV seems like they're trying to say this is on the mom-this is because Cory was abused by his dad. This is on his dad. I don't care what the mom's past was, she wasn't abusing her son and didn't cause his death, his dad did, and anyone who sees it any other way is delusional. Period.

The mother took the boy to the hospital and he was “fine”. The father took him the next day and he was dead a few hours later.

A loving parent doesn’t increase the speed and incline of a treadmill to the point it’s impossible to keep up. A loving parent doesn’t watch their child slam into the ground and not check them over. A loving parent doesn’t grapple and manhandle their child back onto a moving treadmill. A loving parent doesn’t bite their child’s head. A loving parent doesn’t watch their child fall six times and then just walk away. That beautiful boy deserved a father who loved and adored him, not one who controlled and abused him. I hope Corey gets the justice he deserves.

I think if these Court TV commentators are going to have discussions regarding the case and testimony they should have their facts correct before they speak. This child did not die at the 2nd hospital that his mother took him to. She took him to the first hospital who then wanted to transport him to the second hospital. She opted to drive him herself to the second one because the child's father was BLOWING UP her phone harassing her via text because she was late dropping off the child at his house. She drove the child to THE FATHERS house the next morning. He then texted her that afternoon and asked for the child's insurance card because the child was lethargic. He then took him to a hospital, and refused to tell the mother what hospital he took him to. The child passed away at the hospital where is father took him. That FATHER DIDN'T even the decency to call the mother to tell her their son had passed away. THE POLICE knocked on her door that afternoon and THAT is how she was informed her child died. This was all in her testimony on Direct examination YESTERDAY! And his harassing text messages were read aloud in court during her testimony. Court TV, DO BETTER and get your facts straight! Shame on you!

I think he comes across as a bully and he is clearly not effective in getting the mother upset or stressed. And I love how one of them said “the alleged abuse” or words to that effect.
