Targets were far and few between but PERSISTENCE pays off for Bill & Christine while beach metal detecting in this 4 hour hunt with the Minelab Manticore and Xterra Pro metal detectors.
Huntington Beach gets a lot of detector activity so our expectations are never high and this trip was no exception. We could go quite a while without a target. At least an our was spent just in the wet without a single target. But, we stuck to it and still managed to score some good finds!

I found a chain similar to Christine's yesterday that was stamped 14K Italy. It's turning green. I feel ripped off. 🤣 BTW, the pipe like thing was a piece to connect two pieces of scaffolding together

I owned the Simplex + back when it came out and loved it. Unfortunately I had to sell it cause I needed the money at the time. I was looking at the Simplex Lite but came across the Xterra Pro, now I'm torn between the two. Any insight towards one over the other?
