Little thing about the incomplete sets, you can use them to build wreckage in dioramas or stop motions, making it look more real

Man I love halo mega hauls. Looks like you scored big Brickman! As to those incomplete vehicles and such, I love using those as battle damaged or battlefield scrap. That and they have their own story to tell. I would love to have a diorama someday of a Banished scrap yard/facility that has vehicles from all factions, all eras, and all designs side by side. Maybe someday 😅

Thanks for commenting, old school haul videos have always been one of my favourite videos too, you don’t get that many these days but I guess that makes them more enjoyable when they do come along. I’m with you on the damaged vehicle look, even sun damaged has its place now since reading in one of the novels how after great schism, the Covenant Fleet fell into disrepair and the ships were no longer all pristine and shiny but tarnished and patched looking. The sun bleached effect on covenant purple perfectly resembles how I envisioned this look when reading the book. Noted on theBanished Scrapyard idea 👍

@@brickman1175oooh I like that sun damaged concept. All the more onto your point of Trash vs treasure. The post schism era is one of my favorite areas to explore in the Halo franchise. I just wish there was more of it outside the books. Also I would freaking love seeing what you could do with a post war scrapyard from your part/set collection! Glad to be of some inspiration! If you ever continue on that thought process I'm sure you'll absolutely kill it as you always have Brickman 👍

Yes, that’s the plan for the Seraphs, space Banshees and the saber. Oh and the miniature FOD if it arrives in time. It’s going to be epic 👍

Dealing with dusty sets is the worst, most of the time when i buy used lego sets they arrive in rough shape, some are not too bad but then there are some that look like they have been sitting still for 10 years with no cleaning at all. Oh and those were good lots, even had the figures for the sets

man i always come back to these vidoes in both jealousy and awe, i never find any lots like the ones you find anymore, its almost like everyone in NA realized what gems they have. or they end up not shipping to Canada. and if theyre in canada they dont ship

You and me both, it's very rare I see anything either these days, what you see in this video is a couple of years worth of finds. That said, I still think it's easier over here than in the states. I sometimes look at eBay sales of Mega in America and the prices for used MEGA are most definitely more than over here. I think it's because MEGA in the UK has been dead for around 7 years now so to most people it's not worth buying because you can no longer collect it.

Man, that’s awesome, also I wonder if anyone has documented the sticker sheets, like scanned them and made digital copies to save. It would be very helpful to replace stickers if those existed!

This is a great idea and I’d be surprised if anyone has. I’d do it myself but don’t think I have the tech to do so. Would a standard printer scanner be good enough quality do you think or do they use special scanners?

@@brickman1175I feel like a standard printer would be ok, even a phone in a well lit area, if not some paper stores let you use printers don’t they I think? I saw this one trick where they place a coin next to the thing they are taking a picture of and use that for scale. I’m not exactly sure how to make digital copies to be Frank, I just thought it would be nice since you seem to have most sticker sheets it good condition.

I would love to know what your cleaning process is for removing all the dust and grime. That would be a really cool little guide video. Dust is my worst enemy when it comes to my sets. Either way, loved the hauls!

The cleaning process video is being compiled as we speak. I have been recording the process as I go. I’ll show the process as part of the first haul restoration completion video. Shouldn’t be too long for that, maybe a couple of weeks.
