I find him more comfortable when he sings english songs, idk what it is but his aura is different. I can listen to his voice all day long. His falsetto and runs are always flawless ^^

I think he mostly sings english songs when he's alone, maybe that's why sometimes he struggles to speak korean even it's his first language.😂

YG is really lucky tho to have Junkyu, he’s a whole package of visual + main vocal + variety show star material 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I got to know treasure late and I used to think that Junkyu was added late to the group line-up due to his visual, but little did I know that he’s also one of the longest trained member alongside yedam.. 😱

@@faiqahazli8981 Among Treasure, Yedam and Junkyu are the longest trainees. Together with Noa and Raesung, the four of them were the original Team A. Hyunsuk entered two years after Junkyu. Please correct me if I am wrong.

what i think is that junkyu's voice is made to sing english songs. i could literaly listen to it all day. it's just so beautiful

Junkyu has unique and strong vocal but its uniqueness also is sometimes a disadvantage for him because its hard to incorporate his voice to a group song, hence why, despite being vocal next to Yedam and Jeongwoo, he usually has lesser lines in Treasure's songs so far. I hope YGe would not waste his voice and the company with the members would produce songs that would utilize his amazing voice.

Even if he doesn't get many lines in Treasure songs, because his voice is so distinct and unique, his lines become special. Junkyu said in an interview that a lot of people tell him that he has the YG style vocal singing style and colour. Other YG trainees agree to this too.

Sad. He actually sang a lot of demo songs for other artists when he was still a trainee just like Rosé. His voice is well known in YG, but for some reason s being hidden now.

Should we mass mail so that YG can get his shit together and provide Junkyu a better line distribution and not waste his talent because some teumes are disregarding the fact that Junkyu is a main vocal material and all they see in Junkyu is an idol who's good in aegyo. Junkyu is more than that. Istg, I will not stop talking about Junkyu’s ability because HE DESERVES MORE!!!!

@@maiamae7976 The B.L.T. disaster was horrifying. Damn! We're not asking a full ass verse just enough lines to showcase his talent. Or let him do harmonies (bcoz they dont do it! Like? Hello! That WAYO cover was sick. Why cant they do it to their tracks?) YG showcased Junkyu's vocal talent so much before debut but after that, he's been hiding Kyu's vocal talent. Make it make sense, YG! Junkyu literally won every poll in YGTB if it werent for YHS 50% vote. Ugh. So frustrating. But what we can only do is wait and trust, Kyu. I just hope other Teumes hype his skills more, not just his cuteness.

He just second only to Yedam. That said I like some uniqueness in his vocals. I think he’s good with R&B and elect’rock. But after debut has changed to sing a new genre instead. which he did well too.
