Dolly's Desserts in Market Kitchen In Barnsley Owd Warrior, not tried it but heard good things.

Another good place to eat in Barnsley is Old George.

Waffles are usually based on French or Belgium Waffles but in various forms a long history of Waffles can be found in Mexico China and Middle Eastern former Soviet States like Georgia Ukraine and Armenia. Now popular across the US as well a Waffle can come in many forms and tastes and the only similarity with them is how they tend to be cooked. Go to ten different places the chances are you will get ten different tasting Waffles if home made and even the iron of the Waffle press can affect the taste. You really should start taking a metal Knife and fork around with you though fella.

The shop front could do with tidying up. The cakes in the display weren’t inviting. Proof was in the pudding.

From what I could see from inside it seems to be more catered for kids. So the quality of the ingredients are geared towards kids palates. It is dissapointing when you are looking forward to eat somewhere and it's a bit of a let down.

They one tried to deliver some food to my house a while back... Was very rude when I tried explaining that I hadn't ordered it and tried to explain that it might have been a similar named street close by. Only relented when my missus came down after being woke up by them. Very unpleasant. No shock that they don't do very good good tbh.
