Hey I have one too, I'm 33, and tumor is 3 cm but it's pressing on my optic nerves, I lost 60% of my peripheral vision in left eye and 50% in the right eye, I'm seeing through prisms and unable to read numbers as they merge, I've been living in constant stress as all the docs and eye 'specialists' were telling me I'm making this up. Until I ended in the ER. I've had visual issues for 7 months now and only hoping to recover my eyesight but I understand it can be so late into the tumor the optic nerve might be damaged permanently. 🙁 I've started seeing a black ball is i rub my eyes it's always on the opposite of where I press, I wonder can I somehow see it lol. Other symptoms I have is complete lack of sexdrive, irritability, feeling forever tired, sleepy. Brittle nails, hairless arms, my head aches were mild to none until around a month ago, now its awful. A lot of tension in my eyes.. Like they are ready to pop. I'm scechuled a consultation with the neurosurgeon this week and a surgery hopefully next, ❤️Good luck everyone suffering, I hope you are on the way to full recovery ❤️

I’m 31 year old male. I have this tumor and it’s keeping me from making children. I didn’t know I had this till I had an MRI a few years back. I’m on meds (Cabergoline) to up my testosterone level and reduce my prolactin level. I’m starting to think I can’t have kids. If I get this surgically removed, could I have kids? Or is it not a guarantee because the damage or already did? Thank you

Hi Doctor, Mid last year 2021, I had some nerve issue on the left side of my face, and it was not those usual eye twitching or eyebrow twitching. As soon as I moved my mouth (talking, eating, or if slept on that side) all the muscle will start to twitch specially around the left eye, it would almost close, or would pulled to different directions, and once there was a very loud buz inside my head (on the left side). Saw a JP, referred to emergency thinking it could be stroke, but wasnt, saw JP again and did CT scans and xrays. The main issue wasn't found but in those scans it was picked that there is a cyst inside the Pituitary Glad at the size 6mm x 7mm. Would it be wise to request a surgery and remove it ? At age 37, having women health issues, I am gaining weight and diet or excecise does not help, my hands are bigger than my brothers in size and many other men's hand so always embarrassed when shaking hands, about 70% of my hair is grey... Although the best time of life is gone, just check if quality of life could improve after surgery ?

After surgery is horrible,this man speaks as if it's a breeze.You get more headaches blurred vision and no taste or smell which causes severe depression.I think about just giving up sometimes.Its a long road back to recovery.I thought it would be in and out of the hospital and your fine.No it's a long depressing recovery and no smell can't tell if you're even on fire and your taste is as dead and gone for months.I'm miserable and angry.Cant enjoy a meal can't smell my granddaughters lovly blond hair when she sits on my lap.The aftermath of the surgery is just as worst as the cure.
