treats for our trip

10 ай бұрынI am going away for the weekend and wanted to take some treats. Not the typical cheese crackers, cookies, and candies. I wanted to take healthy snacks. So, I cut up some vegetables and oranges and stored them in zip top bags. When we are ready to leave, all we have to do is pack them in an ice chest. I hope this will give you some ideas for your next trip when snack time comes calling.

This is a wonderful idea. Great job with all of the prep work and cutting. I hope you and your family have a great trip. Safe trip. Thank you for sharing. You look beautiful and I love your shirt. I just recently lost my Mom this year and I miss her terribly. She was only 77. She was my best friend and I am finding life without her is extremely tough. Your videos bring me comfort.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom in 2014. It does get easier but memories are always there ❤️

English cucumbers are my favorites and when my boys where young veggies where always cut up in frig that was there snack throughout the day. And now there grown they do it for my grandkids 😊 Healthy!!

I love to put the pretty celery leaves down in water with food coloring. It travels up the stems all through veins of the leaves and it’s so pretty. I like cream cheese or peanut butter on my carrots and especially celery… Love the veggie idea. So much better for us. Enjoy that trip. I think your brother would be a blast to be with. Love you sweet friend. ❤❤

I've never done the food coloring. Also, never had peanut butter with carrots, celery yes. ❤️😋❤️😋

I have a Cutco Cheese knife because we love cheddar cheese in the brick like you have ther, cheese knife slices those bricks of cheese as easy as butter. Good viddles you have for that road trip. YumO

I hope you have a good and fun trip. On the ranch dressing, Hidden Valley makes individual cups, they come in 8 pack, I think….I’ve bought them before for trips…great snacks…I usually take along extra ziplock bags & cloths pins to close up open bags…❤

Thsnk you sweet friend. Ive grown celery like that a couple of times. It's amazing what you can do with store bought. You can do the same with collard greens also if they leave the end on the bunch. 😋❤️
