This was the 16th Annual Tree Farm Relay at Lakeshore Park in Novi, MI, held on July 23, 2022. This was a four person relay consisting of 8 total laps for Advanced riders. Sport riders had to perform 1 lap. Our team decided on a strategy of 2 teammates alternating laps for the first four laps and the remaining 2 teammates doing the same.
This was Lap 1 of 2 for me and I had to battle passing many of the Sport and Costume category riders. Additionally, my first lap started around 12:30 and the heat and humidity was starting to ramp up. Lap 1 went decent however I was cooked at the end.
