Of all these Red Stripe is by far the best. Most of the rest are made for marketing and not for love of brewing beer. Thanks guys.

That's 1 of the main beers I'll choose when out somewhere that doesn't have much variety. I'll take a Red Stripe over a Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors, Miller, PBR, etc. mostly any day of the week.

I've always found Presidente brewed in the US has significantly more of that skunkyness vs Dominican brewed Presidente. Can't wait to see the next showdown video! See you guys on Monday at Charlton!

Love Presidente from the DR! When I got it in Southern Florida, I hadn't had really any bad experience either. It's not quite as good as DR brewed but not bad.

Was just talking the other day about how it had been awhile since I'd had a Red Stripe and that it was always solid. I like another island beer, Kalik which is Bahamian but I was also in the Bahamas at the time.

Great vid, I will say, I just had Carib in St Maarten and it was great! It is actually from Trinidad and Tobago.. maybe I had it nice and fresh down in the islands!! We also tried SXM which is from St Maarten!..

On a trip to Costa Rica, I had a beer called Imperial. In that warm climate, it was delicious. Have you or any commenters had one? I can’t find it anywhere. Red stripe is real good too.

I recall the last time I was in DR all they had for beer at the resort was Presidente. Luckily it was in cans; overall not terrible out in the heat. Barely 4% It didn’t taste like anything…

Exactly how beer evaluation should be done lol.. I run into the same factor, as you make your way back around for another tasting, other aspects start to arise. Did that beer hit you worse than that wicked old Busch Light though? 😏😂

Carib is owned/brewed in Trinidad with breweries in Florida and a few other Carribean islands. I wonder if canned Carib from Trinidad is this bad. I remember thinking it was ok when I had it in blue cans in Antigua but, I was also on a beach.

No, they don't ship to anywhere. Even in Massachusetts you can't buy it at a regular store, you have to go to a brewery location. Many people drive hours and think nothing of it.

I have tried Red Stripe, Land Shark and Presidente. Of those three Red Stripe is my favorite closely followed by presidente and land shark is meh I actually didn’t enjoy drinking it on the beach

This could be the American idol of beer tasting. Sadly, now I can't drink beer without describing what I taste. When it's not a treehouse, I'm noticing the off tastes all the time. I had an amazing fiddlehead that was as fresh as a treehouse beer. I tried another two weeks later, same restaurant, and it was trashed with skunkies and oxidation.... But I knew enough to knowing the difference. That's your fault Nate!👈 Thank you👍😎 No, I'm not actually sad. My sweetheart thinks I'm so knowledgeable😅

Mid/Southern New England made it to, like, February without snowstorms. I thought we were in the clear, and then we got like 3 or 4 of them. What the hell, man?! **sips Wafflebanger and relaxes a bit** ...the snow is pretty, though.
