I truly appreciate the title referring to a teenaged person as a "child". In my country, the USA, it's much too often these days that predators of teens are defended with claims that "teens are old enough to understand what they are doing" while entirely ignoring that these predatory adults also know what they themselves are doing, and that they are doing such things with an adolescent. Adult age in the USA is 18, so respect that anyone under 18 (from my personal perspective, adult age should be 20) is not an adult and should not be taken advantage of nor should be involved in sexual acts with an adult person with the exception of a small age gap (like 17 and 20 year olds). Defenders of said peoples are also hebephiles or ephebophiles in my opinion because they do not recognize these acts as wrong.

I'm obsessed with your channel. It's heartbreaking as much as it's heartwarming because every topic you pick out is something that happens every now and then in different parts of the world. The saddest part is that around 60-70% happens behind close doors where no one could intervene and the rest happens where most people don't want to intervene because they don't want to be 'nosy' or they feel like it's none of their business. I understand that we are all busy in our own life but your videos shows that sparing a minute of your time can actually save someone. Keep up the good work Treeman and friends 😄💕

People should be careful online. Many people lie about their age.

Yes! I had a friend in 9th grade who would meet people on social media. She said she was going to meet one of them at our park and asked for me to meet her up at a certain time. Idk why but my instincts told me to bring another friend and arrive earlier than I was told. No one was at the park and we went into the restroom, my friend and I called out her name. I heard her in the stall nervous laughing. They came out and he was mad at me. Years later I reminded her about the incident and she told me she was thankful for my action because he was forcing her to have sex but I came in time to save her. I know how exciting it is for people to make a new friend or possibly a partner but it's always important to be safe and not blinded by the words of someone you just met. I'm thankful I had an older brother who lectured me about social media and general safety. From his words I felt the need to pass it onto those in my life.
