As an elder person of South Africa I want to thank you for every video you give us. Showing the world the reality of the good hearted people of China will hopefully open the eyes and ears of the " WESTERN WORLD" that is shamefully not in the same ' Class' as we do not have the same empathy with fellow human beings. Though we are " Taught " by the Word of God to "Love thy neighbour" it has become part of our lives to NOT CARE and even to see ourselves as SUPERIOR to others. I am so ashamed of myself and I thank you for opening my eyes . Best wishes from South Africa.

A blind lady was once sitting opposite me on the train, she had cuts and bruises on her shins where she walked into things. Also people should never let their dogs foul the streets as a blind person could step on it and bring that into their home.

I have a Degenerative Disorder. In the past 5 years I have gone from walking with a slight limp to a cane, a rollater(walker) to a manual wheelchair to a fully motorized wheelchair. The kindness in this world amazes me every day. So many people are willing to drop everything to help when I need it...I am so thankful to anyone who stops to help.

I love how the older gentleman asked her questions about herself while his wife(?) tied her hair back. His kindness was so genuine. Every person was very sweet. All of them. The woman who gave her the gloves, the man that helped her cross the street. Doing kind things for other people makes you feel amazing. Yesterday, I let an older lady ahead of me in line at the store. A simple gesture that cost me nothing. She unbeknownst to me (until I got to the cashier and she had already left) paid a portion of my bill. Her gesture still has a smile on my face. ❤ 😊

Chinese are quite kind-hearted and forgiving. When the Sino Japanese War in 1945, many Japanese fled from Northern regions of China leaving scores of their children behind. Chinese people then had suffered at the devastations caused by the brutal invasion of the Japanese army, and yet poor peasant folks took these kids in their care like their own. Decades later some decided to return to Japan. They have fond memories of their Chinese adopted parents and some are still living to this day.

I love these videos. As a foreigner I've been told that in China people tend to not help others in need. I know those people are generalizing but it's good to have these type of videos prove that narrative wrong. I've seen so much generosity and compassion in these videos.

I think it's just depends on how we see who's "in need". I always claim to be someone won't help unless they asked as a Chinese...but I found myself more willing to help than some westerners who claim to be someone always offer help.

父に以前こういう動画があるんだよ、って言ったら、「(中国だから)誰も助けないでしょ」って言ってたんです。なので「色んな人が助けてたんだよ」、と言ったら驚いていました。 いつか「中国だから○○」という偏見がなくなればいいなと思います。優しい方がたくさんいるし、どんなに印象の良い国でも何かしら悪いことは少なからず起こります。

Hello! This will absolutely get buried but these videos aways make me smile so much. I'm Chinese but I've lived in the UK all of my life and, especially now, I've always seen so much negativity towards China to the point I was ashamed of being Chinese for a long time. I'm so glad that this can shed a positive light to my ethnicity. Thank you so much!
