You can view 3D models from here:

People say Treflips are easier while moving and I think so too. But why?
Can it be explained scientifically?
In this video, we will talk about the importance of proper weight distribution in Treflip using 3D models.
Please make a good use of the 3D model on my web site and you might be able to see something I could not explain in this video.
I'm trying to eliminate subjectivity from my explanation as much as possible by referring to scientific and physics theories. Please use my 3D models to solve your "why."

Traditionally, skateboarding how-to videos have always been subjective and the majority of explanations are based on speakers' experiences.
To avoid relying on my personal experiences, please fully utilize the 3D models.
All skaters have different questions.
So that you can analyze skateboarding tricks in detail and solve your "whys," those 3D models are made fully interactive.
The 3D models feature these functions below:
- change camera angle
- adjust play speed
- change transparency
- display gridlines, etc.
Aside from that, I try to explain concepts of skateboarding tricks based on facts, calculations, scientific and physics theories. I may make mistakes so please leave a comment if you find anything.

I think it’s cool you’ve made another treflip video, ultimately there’s a lot of nuances and complex motion that’s hard to pick up on. Rly is hard to explain in just one video

Im glad you made another tre flip video. It's better to cover everything, especially weight distribution. I watched a lot of trick videos before finding your channel, and none explained that at all. Your explanations of weight distribution is one of the main reasons this is my favorite skate channel. That's the subject most important to me. Thanks for uploading. Unfortunately I can't skate right now...snow is on the ground.🙄

You shouldn't have to jump 2 feet to the side just to land your Tre flips, you should be able to keep it completely under you and land exactly where you popped. But I suppose that's the beauty of skateboarding, everyone does it differently.

Watching your first video about this trick got me into learning it, it's really amazing because those last day I was reasoning a lot on exactly what you describe in great details here... this is so helpful, I'm glad you did that last video on the trick. Now I feel like I finally understand "why the trick", great job.

I just gave a try to the simulation on your website: Great stuff thanks! It's really useful to be able to look at different angle, in some situation I feel like it would be nice if we could turn off the "ground grid" (I'v seen how we can add the other grid for X/Y axis but not how to disable this one). Thanks again for your work.

Hey everyone, I'm having a hardtime doing a treflip then, and now after getting a shaped deck it was really easy after it, I can scoop my treflip effortless and land it while static. My board is short tail and nose deep concave and 31 inch length

@mylast949
@mylast949 4 ай бұрын
@@vancouverbill just an inch, i didn't sure because it was long time ago. Currently, I skate an average deck length and take much effort to scoop. And the other reason I can treflip is because my truck is so loose

Idk man, for me, getting them moving is such a hassle. Altogether, I'm at least 9 hours into landing one going forward, and I can stick it occasionally, but no ride aways. I can land them fakie sometimes. But so far, the only real luck is with stationary =(
